"You are pregnant!" Hannah gasps and I immediately snapped my head to the monitor, I am with child. "Congratulations Anna!" She beamed, I was still recovering from the shock

"H–how?". My mind was trying to process what was before me, my gaze was still at the monitor where my baby was appearing before me, there was a life growing inside me. How had I not noticed a slight bulge in my stomach?

"Anna, I know this is surprising, I am as surprised as you are, I can't even smell the baby on you, I think you should be three weeks far along and Alpha babies take five months to fully form"

"Five months?, I thought it was six"

"That is for other wolves, the Alpha babies are strong and they develop faster, Kaden would soon hear the child heartbeat as well but it is still odd that your scent has not changed" Hannah sniffed me "it hasn't changed , should I call the Alpha?"

"No!" I immediately responded, we were working on our relationship, now there was a baby, he would only care for me more because of the baby not because of he has grown feelings for me

"No?" Hannah questions in confusion, she would not understand "why don't you want me to call him here, he deserves to know, he is Alpha and this is his child" she reasoned

It was more complicated than that, this was what Kaden wanted from me from the beginning, he did not want a mate he wanted a pup and he had made it clear two times before my shifting, I know things was different now but I was selfish, I wanted Kaden attention to be on me for a little while, it had been long since someone wanted me as a person, I will tell him about the child but not just now.

"I will tell him myself when I am ready"

"The Alpha will know even if you don't tell him" Hannah said

"You said my scent has not changed maybe you can give me what you gave Gia for a while"

She stared at me crazily "Why don't you want him to know?" She asks

"I am not ready" I simply replied, how can I tell her that I am greedy, I want this child but I want Kaden's attention for a while before the knowledge of the child comes into light

"You know this is wrong, this is one thing that will make the Alpha completely whole again and you are keeping it from him"

That was my problem, her exact statement was my fear, this child would make him feel whole again, it would complete him, it would mean that I was not enough. I dropped my head down and sighed deeply " I just need some time, maybe a week to get my head together and I will tell him" I compromised

Hannah looked hesitant to my idea but she later agrees "Fine, one week you tell you, I will give you the mixture but when the time runs out and you don't tell him, I will stop giving you the mixture and I will tell him but that is if he has not sniffed it out by that time" she threatened

"Thank you"

"I don't know why you are doing this, but I hope you figure things out soon" she leaves to get the mixture, she hands it over to me, the mixture was in a black small container, I opened it, it looked just like a regular body cream "You have to apply some now, I don't know why your scent has not changed but you don't want to risk anything" she instructed

"Thank you" I greeted, she simply nods as she walks out of the room, I scooped out of the mixture and rub it against my belly before lying back on the bed. That was how I spent the rest of my day, on the bed and with my thoughts, Hannah had not returned to the room again, I know she was disappointed but I could not help how I felt about the situation.
