I have never been to the castle, my father had though—when I was little for a royal ball alongside my mother, and I had made them spill all the details of how the castle looked like, was it like the ones in the fairytale movies or where they more better but my parents description could not fully explain what was before me as we got down from our car.

Hand in hand with my mate Kaden, I approached the imposing gates of the werewolf royal castle. The anticipation in my heart mingled with the warmth of Kaden's touch.

As the gates opened before us, I couldn't help but feel awestruck. Stepping foot into the castle grounds, I was immediately enveloped by a sense of both ancient power and untamed beauty. The castle stood tall and proud, its stone walls seeming to rise effortlessly toward the heavens. It was a place where legends were born, and where the werewolf royalty reigned supreme.

Nature intertwined with the majestic architecture, as if a harmonious union had been formed. Towering trees swayed in the breeze, their leaves whispering secrets that only the castle's walls could truly understand. Wildflowers painted the landscape in vibrant splashes of color, while the moon bathed everything in an ethereal glow, casting a spell over the castle and its inhabitants.

We were greeted by a well dressed man of lean figure, he introduced himself as Francis, a caretaker of the palace and he was to escort us to where the meeting would hold.

As Kaden and I ventured deeper into the heart of the castle, every step revealed new wonders to me but Kaden appeared unbothered, it was not his first time coming here. The walls bore intricate carvings that told stories of triumph and sacrifice, reminding us of the ancestral legacy that resided within these ancient halls. Stained glass windows adorned the corridors, casting kaleidoscopic patterns of light onto the stone floors, creating an otherworldly ambiance that wove magic into the air.

Hand in hand, Kaden and I stepped into the grand hall—a sanctuary that seemed designed for the werewolf royalty. The hall extended far into the distance, its cavernous space embraced by towering columns, standing as steadfast guardians to the regal elegance that lay within.

And then, we arrived at the throne room—a place of true awe and wonder. I caught my breath as my eyes beheld the opulence that surrounded us. The throne itself, bathed in golden light, stood as a symbol of power and authority. The air was heavy with history and the energy of the countless secrets whispered within those walls.

Kaden's hand tightened around mine, as if sensing my own mix of emotions. Francis then led us to a door by the far end of the throne room, he bowed slightly before saying "I will take my leave now, have a good day Alpha, Luna" leaving us and walked away.

Tension returned to my body once more as my brain has finally got back to the purpose of why we were in the castle "Do not be afraid, those people in there hold as much power as you do, do not show them that you think of yourself less or you feel intimidated" Kaden instructed soothingly, and I nodded weakly, I sighed just before Kaden opened the doors.

Surge of energy hit me all at once, and it made me imagine whether if Kaden was not holding my hand firmly, would I have fallen on my knees.

I should have expected this though, the gathering of Alphas was to come with choking surge of energy, that my beta blood till could not compete with, but I know that this Alphas were purposely releasing surge of power from them as if to exert dominance.

What I did not expect was that everyone in the entire council room would be staring at I and Kaden in complete silence. I felt the urge to cower behind Kaden, but I fought against it, Kaden wanted me to be strong, I was now a Luna, I had to be strong, no Luna in this room was cowering behind their Alpha, rather their flawless face was composed almost emotionless.
