I was still in a state of shock, Kaden was holding me but I was still in a daze, Ciara was dead, she had been poisoned and she had ran mad and she had tried to kill me, why me?, Ciara last words meant that it was not intentional, she did not want to attack me meaning there was someone out to destroy me, was that what they did to my father?, to cut him off as well.

"Anna, you have not said a word" Kaden said in a distressed tone, what could I possibly say?, my life was in danger and someone was after me, then my child was not safe. "I am sorry that your ritual ceremony got ruined but you are Luna now" he added, I glanced at him still livid of what was happening, Ciara had attacked after the ritual was done, I was Luna but now I was a target as well.

"Someone is trying to kill me" I finally spoke, I watched as they carried Ciara lifeless body away, she was no more, we were never friends but she was still a pack member, she was this pack member and she would have meant something to some of the people here, she might have had friends and family here, now she was gone and she was never coming back.

The pack members were still around watching everything unfold, James was comforting Serena while Hannah smiled weakly at me before she followed the pack members that was carrying Ciara's body.

"Anna, you need to calm down, you will be fine" Kaden comforted but it only did little to ease my tension, there was greater stake now, I was with child, if I died, my child dies too and Kaden would go through the same thing again, I have to tell him.

"Kaden I—" I began but I was cut off  by the priestess, I had no idea she was still here

"Alpha, you need to be careful, I have seen this before" she warned

Kaden turns his attention to her "What is this?" He asks

"A magic of the old, in the past there was a priestess that abandoned the true ways and she seemed power, she seemed to control the wolves for her bidding and then she created a elixir, a dangerous one, the result of the elixir is what you witnessed today, it makes werewolves lose control and they become plagued, they run feral and mad" she explained

"My father—"

"He was plagued" she revealed and my eyes widened "I saw your life doing the ritual, I saw your pain and the shame you endured. Your mother's death did not make your father kill Freya, he was manipulated to kill her"

"But why?" I asked as tears threatened to spill , I know Kaden was curious, he had his jaw clenched, his first mate had suffered a terrible fate because my father had been manipulated, my father was a victim just like Freya, his name, his reputation and his life was destroyed because someone had wanted it to be so.

"That I do not know" she answered "The truth will reveal itself with time but be vigilant and ready" she added and she bowed before she left.

"What is going to happen now?" I asked Kaden, I was confused at why someone would sort out my life, I knew no one, I was no one, what did they stand to gain by destroying me. Did Alpha Samuel ever realized that my father had been plagued? Or was he involved in the whole plot?.

"I will find who did this" he said as he gets up and left, while I just sat at the stage in confusion, I know he was angry, I know he was furious at how everything had turned out to be, but I was angry as well, I was mad furious, I lost my life, for three years I suffered and at a point I sought death and now this was just somebody's plot.

"Luna, I will escort you back to the house" Joan said softly, I did not even have the strength to argue about my title, I do not even have the strength of anything right now, I just wanted to sleep and forget that this day ever happened, so I nod before getting up and walked with Joan back to the house.
