chapter one:
*if song doesn't work on mobile: Flashed Junk Mind - Milky Chance*

Without the unintentional help of my brother, Evan. Then none of this would've even happened...

I shoved a pillow over my face letting out a groan. If there was one thing I hated in the world, it was parties. I was currently stuck up in my room, hiding from the ongoing illegal things downstairs. Evan, my brother had decided it would be such a grand idea to host one of his "ridiculous" parties.

They were ridiculous alright, ridiculously annoying. Having a brother who is popular with all of the school, and who has one too many friends. Was not something I ever enjoyed. We were total opposites, he was outgoing, had tons of friends, a social butterfly.

I on the other hand, liked to keep to myself, I was quiet and got on fine with few to zero friends. All I had to do was get through my final year of high school. After that I was out of this town and on my way to Australia. I wouldn't have to see this small town ever again, that is if I was lucky of course.

There was no need for me to get involved in stupid things, I needed my grades to stay up, and keep up my high average to keep my parents okay with the thought of me moving across the world. All that my mind was set to do, was get good grades, and get through school in one piece.

The walls around me were vibrating from the music coming beneath me, I shoved my pillow onto my floor and grabbed my laptop from the foot of my bed. Shoving my headphones over my ears, and turning up my volume to the maximum.

I pressed the play button, resuming my movie that I had been watching when people started to pour into my house.

After about ten minutes of barely being able to hear my movie, which would've normally hurt my ears from how loud it was, I gave up. I was closing my laptop shut when my my bedroom door swung open, and hit my wall with a bang.

I screeched jumping up from my bed as I held my laptop out as a weapon. Though granted, it would not do anything, and I would end up feeling gutted if the thing actually broke.

There standing in my doorway was a boy, taller than me, dark brown hair, piercing blue eyes. My eyes were as wide as can be, and my mouth gaped open like a fish out of water.

I wanted to speak, but it was like my body had forgotten how to breathe. He tipped the red cup he was holding towards me

"Pretty lady, where is your bathroom?" he stumbled into my room, a bit, holding the doorframe for support.

I shook my laptop towards the door directly behind him, across the hallway. But he didn't get the point,

"I'm not sure what the shaking of a laptop means." he slurred, furrowing his brows in confusion.

I let out a sigh, before I set down my computer and pointed my finger out,

"It's right behind you, you, you lugghead!" he let out a small laugh at my pathetic attempt at an insult.

"Alright, alright," he mumbled throwing his hands up in defence, almost spilling some of his drink onto my floor while he did so. "No need to get salty."

I huffed crossing my arms over my chest, and walking around my bed, I gathered myself, before taking in a huge gulp of air

"Listen hear you asstwat, you came baring into my room." I shoved my finger into his chest, "drunk" shove "waltzing around like you own the place." shove "and you act as if I have no right to be angry with you! I have no idea who the heck you even are!"
