When Freya met Aiden

Then she hugged and kissed Aiden. Bill and Jed where standing there, and Freya saw Bill wink at Jed "what about our hugs and kisses, everybody else has had one" so she gave them a hug and kiss each, sorry darling I forgot about you two" Huh, charming!!! you forgot about the love of your life" "is he Paula, is Bill the love of your life?" Freya asked. she smiled and said "yes definitely, I never thought anybody would want me, with having Anna. But Bill said it was love at first sight, and he loves Anna as well, so yes he's definitely the love of my life " "I glad you found him, he's lovely" "right ladies the car seats in, So less talking and let's hit the road" said Aiden. They made sure Anna was safe in her seat and they had a few last minute hugs from Charles, Jed, Gladys and a few other people and they were off, with everybody waving them goodbye. "Are you happy and excited Anna?" Freya asked "yes aunty Freya, I can't wait to see uncle Aiden and his friends on stage, will he be pulling a lot of funny faces?" "I don't pull funny faces, you little madam. I'm making my sounds" "I know you are darling, but you do pull some funny faces while you're doing it" Freya said "charming" and Aiden stuck his tongue out and smiled at Anna. "You are silly uncle Aiden" "he is Anna, but we love him don't we?" "Yes aunty Freya, we do" "do you want some music on Anna?" "Can't we sing some songs?" "ok" so they sang every nursery rhyme they knew, a few of the Home Front songs, and as they were singing 'Mary had a little lamb' Freya heard a little snore "Aww she's fallen asleep, doesn't she look angelic?" "just like you, Paula and I have a lovely picture of Anna fast asleep in your arms, you both look so cute, fast asleep" "that's sneaky, your not supposed to take picture of people when they're sleeping" "I know but it was irresistible."

 He took Freya's hand and kissed it, and kept hold of it till they were nearly to Rogina. "Do you think we should wake Anna up? we'll be there in about half an hour, and I need to pee" "I asked did you want the loo before we left, you naughty boy" "well I didn't then, but I do now. I'll pull over and nip into those bushes" so that's what he did, he got out and closed the door and as soon as it shut, Anna woke up. "Where's uncle Aiden going?" "He needs the loo, but we're miles away from one, so he's gone into the bushes so nobody can see him" "I have to do that if mommy and I go on long walks, she says it's ok so long as you don't make a mess, and nobody sees you" "that's right Anna, no mess and don't let anyone see you. Do you want a drink or something? we'll be there in half an hour, but if you want something now it's ok" "yes please aunty Freya, I'd like a drink and some cookies" "did I hear someone mention cookies? may I have one please Anna?" "of course you can uncle Aiden, they've got chocolate chips in them" "Mmm my favourite." They got out of the car and got the rug out of the trunk, so they could sit down and have their drinks and snacks. Anna held out the box with the cookies in "would you like a cookie aunty Freya, uncle Aiden?" "why thank you Anna I will" said Aiden and Freya had one to. Aiden bit into his, "oh my Anna, these cookies are the nicest ones I've ever tasted, you make scrumptious cookies" and he popped what was left in his mouth, and pinched another one, which he demolished in two bites "can I have another one please Anna?" " Of course you can uncle Aiden" "don't you want any proper food? Gladys has made us some BLTs" "I've got plenty of room for those as well, I'm a growing boy." 

So they got their sandwiches out and some gorgeous little meat pies that Gladys makes from scratch, a bit of salad and a big flask of coffee. Anna unpacked her bag, she had sandwiches, veggie croutons and a dip and some fruit, with some fruit juice and water. Freya looked at it all "I thought we were only having a snack to keep us going till we got there" "well that's what this is, a little snack. Told you I'm a growing boy" as he finished off his second sandwich. "Can I try one of those little meat pies, please?" "Of course you can, but you don't have to keep asking, just get what you want" "ok"as he bit into it. "God Gladys is a fantastic cook, these are delicious" as he ate another one. "Can I have a meat pie please?" said Anna "of course you can, your mommy won't shout at me, will she?" Freya said "no I've got my packed lunch, but mommy said if  I wanted something that you've got, then I can have some" "well you'd better get one now then, uncle Aiden's on his fifth one" "I didn't know anyone was counting, I can't help myself they're delicious, here you are Anna" "thank you uncle Aiden, Mmm they are delicious, I think I'll have another one, if you don't mind?" "of course we don't mind, you can have what ever you want darling." Freya said. Well they finished their impromptu picnic and Aiden lay down on the rug and Anna lay down beside him. Freya put everything away and just sat there looking at Aiden, 'God, he's gorgeous and he's all mine'. " Why don't you come down here for a cuddle?" He put his arm out "come on" so she did. They obviously fell asleep, as usual. The next thing Freya know she was woken up by some strange man looking down at her. Freya's reactions kicked in and she grabbed him by the throat and threw him on his back and he had her boot pressing down on his throat.
