"You're pausing mid jab, drag it through." I instructed
"I'm confused how am I pausing ?" Zae asked
I shook my head before standing behind her and positioning her correctly.
"Your pausing by curving here, punch straight out." I instructed before guiding her arm.
I watched as she jabbed the correct towards my punching mitts and I lightly gave pressure back.
"There you go" I chuckled
"Oh okay." she smiled before getting buff at me
"Nigga don't get cocky, cause we both know that i'll knock yo lil ass out." I told her while pushing her head back with two fingers.
"Wassup." she shrugged
"Marie." I mumbled
"Cane." She mumbled back before tossing me my gloves
"Ight dude." I chuckled before sliding the gloves on.
We touched gloves and she started circling around me while I stood still.
"Ain't we supposed to be circulating ?" She asked
I lightly pushed her her to the side causing for her to tilt her head.
"Go ahead." I told her before raising my gloves up to cover my face. She began swinging them little ass baby punches but I started stepping back like they were impacting me
I fell back into the corner of the ropes before looping my arm around her neck and switching our positions
"You can't do that!" Zae laughed as she tried fighting her way out the corner, but she couldn't.
"Nah niggas was in all that shit huh?" I asked
Just then the door opened and Dee walked in before shaking his head
"What's good Zae." He chuckled
"Hi Dee." she laughed before pushing me pack.
"You made my bun fall." She complained before walking away to put it up but I pulled her back into me by her waist.
"Am I sweaty ? because you are" She told me
"I don't talk about how musty yo ass be." I replied causing for her to much my head
"Boy never." She laughed before stepping out the ring
"You have one more fight before the big shot hoe you feeling ?" Dee asked
"Shit i'm ready, did the venue get booked ?" I asked
"New Year's Day, at the Barclays Stadium in Brooklyn New York, if you win that fight you'll be placed second the world bracket, which will lead to Duke's fight and y'all are fighting in his hometown." He informed
"Toronto ?" I asked and he nodded
"I know you're ready, but we still have to take baby steps, focus on beating this next opposer before we focus on Duke." Dee said and I nodded in agreement
I wasn't nervous about all of the shit that was coming up, but I knew that it wasn't gon be easy and it was weird not knowing what was next.
"Ight, let's get in the ring."

I walked over to where Zae was before picking my phone up and unlocking it. She was talking to Breanna about some photography shit.
