THE NEXT MORNING
NOVA:
I was woken up to loud banging on my door, I groaned before rolling over and expecting them to go away. The knocking continued so I grew irritated before getting out of bed and opening the door.
Zaeda stood in the doorway dressed in this dark green two piece set. She had her natural look going on per usual and her hair was sleeked back.
"What?" I mumbled
"we were having a conversation last night sir.. I'd like to finish that." Zae said
"A convo ? we associated and barely that." I replied causing for her to roll her eyes
"Why are you so stubborn ?" she asked
"You don't have to be here, nobody asked you to come over here." I replied causing for her to cross her arms
"I got shit to do later." I sighed
"I won't keep you out for long." she shrugged
I checked the time on my phone to see that it was only 11:00.
I sighed before stepping aside and letting her inside my apartment.
"No like we're going out, getting air." She corrected causing for me to furrow my eyebrows
"Out ? like in the public ?" I chuckled
"Oh don't flatter yourself love." She shot back causing for me to shake my head
"We can chill in here." I told her while looking her up and down.
"This ain't that, you're wasting time.. you got placed to be remember ?" She asked before stepping aside.

"Do you take that camera everywhere ?" I asked as we walked
"I do, I never want to miss a moment." She shrugged before admiring the camera.
"How long have you been fighting ?" She asked directing the conversation to me.
"Shit since middle school, i've been in it for a minute." I replied
"Hm, so What made you do it ?"
"Do what ?" I asked
"Take a fight that could possibly "end" your career?" She asked
"I haven't took the fight yet smart ass." I replied
"But you're going too." She shrugged
"How you know what i'm doing ?"
"I've caught that about you, if you wanna do something you're gonna do it regardless of what anybody else thinks." She shrugged.
We stopped walking and she opened the door to this sketchy ass building
"The hell is this ?" I mumbled
"Don't judge a book by its cover, come on." She replied before pulling my arm into the building.
we went downstairs into a basement looking area and a man stood tall as if he was guarding the door
"Bananas." She lowly told him before he shook his head before stepping aside
"How are you Venice ?" Nae asked him
"I'm doing good, who's your friend ?" He asked before looking at me
"Oh this is Nova, Nova Venice." She introduced
"Oh i've heard of you, you're that one fighter huh ?" he asked
