4 Months Later (February)
NOVA-
"Ok turn a little to the left." Zae instructed
"Bruh can we take a break." I mumbled
"You just took one let's go, we need to get these headshots in for the flyer." Bre replied causing for me to shake my head
Zae took a couple of more photos before pausing to look at them.
"I think we have enough, plus i'm the one who has to do all the editing." Zae replied before walking over and showing me and Breanna a few
"Ouu that's the one." Bre said once Zae came across a nice one
"That one's hard." I nodded
"I'll edit it first and send it out then." Zae smiled before looking up at me
The fight was approaching next week, and we were wrapping up all the last minute shit.
Just then Zae had stepped out to go use the bathroom and Breanna looked at me
"What'd you get her for valentine's day ?" she asked
"hm ?" I mumbled causing for her face to fall
"Nova! you didn't get her anything ??" she asked
"Was I supposed too ? I haven't celebrated valentine's day since when me and Mariyah had first got together." I said while scratching my head
"Yes, have you even asked her to be your girlfriend yet ?"
"I'm supposed to ask ?" I mumbled and she tilted her head at me
"She's not Mariyah, you're gonna miss out on a good thing being so stuck on the past!" Bre told me
"I don't know what to get her, and how am I supposed to even ask that shit ? shouldn't she already know not to fucking play with me." I replied
"She's very down to earth so I think she'd be appreciative of anything as long as it's from the heart... take her out to dinner or something, do something out doorsy." She suggested
After a while Zae came back out and once she noticed us staring at her she looked up causing for me and Bre to awkwardly look around.
"Y'all good..?" Zae trailed
"Mhm."
"Well come on so I can start editing." Zae said while grabbing her things
I was getting ready to do the same but Bre grabbed me up.
"If she isn't grinning ear to ear the next time I see her, ill hurt you."she mumbled causing for me to look at her crazy
"It's just fuck me now huh ?" I asked causing for her to laugh and push me out.
"So Baylei went to Jamaica and tell me why a bird took off with her wig bruh." Zae laughed causing for me to do the same
"Not too much on my bestie." she added
"Nah that's what her ass get, you and Aniyah back talking ?" I asked
"We never weren't talking, we just fell off a little, but we're ok" she shrugged
"You and Jared ?"
"We straight." I replied and she nodded
I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as we slowly walked and she bundled up into my thick jacket.
Once we made it to the car I cranked up the heat before we both ran our hands together.
"The whether is so bipolar, it's gon be warm tomorrow." I said and Zae nodded in agreement.
