"This shit is pointless, if her ass wants to quit she quit I don't give a fuck" I told Bre

"Nova, you'd give a fuck if y'all were still together, which goes to show they all this is over a petty sss breakup NOT business." Bre said before sitting down

I smacked my teeth before the door opened and Zae walked inside.

She had on a emerald green sundress that hugged her body nicely with some gold accessories. She had her hair down the middle and curled with some light makeup.

We made eye contact which we broke once she sat down.

"First, how was New York ?" Bre smiled

"It was actually really fun, I needed that trip," Zae smiled causing for me to give her a side eye.

"Love that, and thanks for coming I know your flight was long and you're tired so I can try to make this as quick as possible ." Bre started

"It's clear that y'all are choosing to go y'all's separate ways , however that doesn't have to interfere with the company..?" Bre started and Zae sighed

"Bre I-"

"As much as Nova is acting stubborn and hard, this is more than just what you two had, and it's not worth letting the company go." Bre interrupted and we sat in silence for
a while before Zae sat up and cleared her throat

"I'm thinking about moving to New York." Zae admitted causing for me to look at her

"It's not official, and i'm not quitting, but the offer is on the table and I am considering taking it." She added

"So if you do take the offer you're gone?" Bre added and Zae nodded

"But I have no intentions on quitting at the moment, and im open to letting business be just business." Zae said before turning to me and extending her hand out

"I looked at it for a while before eventually shaking it and sitting up

"Is that all, I have to be somewhere to be?" She asked before checking her phone

I furrowed my eyebrows at her and Bre stood up before pulling her into a hug

"I forgot, be safe, love you." Bre told her

"I love you tooo." Zae replied before walking out the door

"Fuck she going ?"

"Some cookout." She shrugged

"Nova just do me this one favor, don't give her mixed signals to where she feels like she has to quit ok?" Bre said

"How the fuck am I the one giving her mixed signals ?" I scoffed

"Ummm, you broke up with her and then called her whole drunk expressing yourself to her.."

"I didn't express myself- this isn't yo business." I shrugged off causing for Bre to raise her hands up in surrender.

I ended up picking my phone up and scrolling through social media only to come across a shade room post.

"Zaeda Garner and Nova Jacobs both seen with new potential love interests after their recent separation. Supporters begin to believe that the entire relationship was just a public stunt to attract attention."

I furrowed my eyebrows at
the grid that showed me and carmen side by side with a picture of Zae and some other nigga.
