hanbin and hao rushed over to the house to meet whoever had been at the door. his mother seemed too confused and distraught to deal with the situation alone. when they arrived they were met by a young woman, she had blue eyes and luscious brown locks, looking awfully similar to jia. "fuck" hao mumbled under his breath, hanbin only focused on figuring out what the situation was.

"ma'am how can i help you?" he asked her politely, the woman looking at the boy with confusion on her face. "this lady has my baby, i saw her with her this morning," she spoke clearly upset. hanbin was confused, if this was jia's mom why did she suddenly just reappear, why wasn't she acting like she got dumped off at hanbins door weeks ago? "I'm sorry there must be some confusion, she's my daughter," he spoke, reassuring the woman who was clearly distraught.

"listen here, i know my baby when i see her, she's been missing for weeks, and you mean to tell me you three are the ones who stole her? i've been worried sick" she said strictly getting her point across. "stolen?" hao questioned, "she was left at my boyfriend's door with a note, happen to know anything about that, if she is your kid?". "look, one second i had her carrier down on the bench at the park and the next she was gone, and i couldn't find her" she pleaded with the boy to understand. "i can't just give you my daughter and act like nothing, for all i know you're a fake" hao spoke, hanbin was too emotional to even think that the girl he grew to love could be leaving him. "i'll get her birth certificate and anything else you may need to see to prove to you." she spoke sternly, "don't go anywhere, i will be back," she told the boys as she flew downstairs to her car.

hao looked at hanbin who had been shedding small tears, wiping them he reassured the boy he had nothing to worry about, and that she probably was just a crazy person from the street. hanbin walked inside his mother's apartment to jia, picking up the girl and holding her tightly. "my princess, please don't go" he said crying into the girl. hao was in too much shock to feel anything at the moment. he couldn't let her just take the girl who practically allowed for him and hanbin to grow closer, for them to become a family. there had to be a way that jia could stay with them.

hanbin had been sleeping on the couch with jia laying on his chest. the two were both tired from the emotions of the day, hao rubbing hanbins leg and comforting him as he had still been crying. he heard a knock on the door and rose to check who it was, opening the door he was met with the girl with multiple official documents. hao reading each paper, looking at all the family pictures, feeling his heart get torn piece by piece as he revealed more and more proof that jia was her child. hao nodded, there was nothing he could do, they would be accused of kidnapping jia if they tried to fight it, they had to let her go.

he sluggishly made his way to hanbin, patting him awake with a small pout on his face. hanbin almost knew that it was time for jia to go as he threw his head back releasing tears again, holding the girl tight. "daddy will love you forever" he wept, hoping the sound of his crying wouldn't wake her. he handed her over to hao watching as he gathered her carrier placing her inside and buckling her, making sure to put jia's favorite stuffed raccoon and hamster in. at least she'd have a small memory of the two, at least she'd still have their scent to fall asleep aside. he walked to the door, handing the carrier to the woman, "you're lucky i don't press charges" she scoffed grabbing the carrier. hao too astonished to speak allowed her to walk down the hallway and down the stairs with no response.

there she went, sung jia, into the hands of someone else.
