hao looked up and automatically felt his face getting red, it was a habit of his anytime he saw hanbin, the boy made him nervous but he didn't understand why. he liked to just excuse it as a new environment with new people and new experiences and being a bit flustered at that is okay, right?... the older lady who Hao knew now as Hanbin's mom gestured for her son to come over to the table and greet the boy. hanbin had been dressed in uniform, a white long sleeve that pronounced his arm and chest muscles, with black pants and a small brown apron sporting different pins along the bottoms of it. his hair was done neatly, and he looked as if he had done some light makeup. hao watched as the elegant-looking barista walked over to his table with a bright smile on his face. "hao hyung, nice to see you! are you enjoying your chai? Mom makes the best around" he said as his cheeks turned a dusty pink. hao looked up at the younger, he wouldn't have ever guessed that the boy he met last night was a barista during the day...

"I have to agree, this is one mean cup of chai.." hao said taking a small sip of the warm beverage. "well, I'm glad to see you enjoying it, if you need anything you know who to call" hanbin spoke softly and left with a slight wink. hao finished up the last couple bites of the croissant and finished off the warm drink making sure to clean up after himself. he glanced over at Hanbin who was at the counter making all kinds of drinks, americano, lattes, espresso shots, pretty much anything you could possibly want he could make. "impressive" he mumbled under his breath with a slight smile as he walked outside of the cafe and back into the rain, thankfully it had calmed down a bit since he was last out here.

hanbin was not expecting to have seen Hao at his mother's cafe, after he was done making the drinks for the customers at the counter he walked to the small baking room in the back of the cafe where his mother had been. "hey mom, that guy you had me come to see, did he just wander in here?" he asked questioningly. "yeah he had just come in here soaking wet, seems he must not have had an umbrella, I offered him the drink to make sure he would be warm," she said with a small smile spread across her face. Hanbin also had a small smile plastered on his face, "I love that you care for everyone Mom it really is amazing" he said giving her a pat on the shoulder. "but hanbin, why are you asking me that question, you seem rather interested in the boy, do you know him?" she asked him. "um, kinda I met him yesterday at the dance studio, he's new here," he responded. she nodded and handed her son a small box with a couple of different pastries in it. "these are for him, I'm sure you'll see him tonight at the studio, hm?" she said. hanbin nodded and took the box of pastries over to his locker, "I'll make sure to say they're handmade with love by you mom" he smiled as he put them away.

hao was nervous. he had never been late for a class but he must have lost track of time when he was in Hanbin's mother's cafe. he was rushing through the campus that seemed to stretch miles long and wide. he finally arrived at his first class of the day, rushing up the stairs to the classroom, he opened the door and grabbed a seat at an open desk. "oh someone running late?" he heard his deskmate question with a slight giggle. "a bit would you possibly have the notes of stuff that I missed?" he asked the boy. the boy slightly nodding and passing him a page of his notes, the name on the paper read Seok Matthew. hao was quick to take a copy of the notes and pass the paper back to the boy. "thank you, uhh matthew? my name is hao nice to meet you" he said as he extended and put the paper on his desk. "nice to meet you as well" he smiled and got back to taking notes. for the rest of the class, hao paid close attention making sure not to miss any bit of the lesson.

as the professor finished up his lesson and everyone began packing their bags hao felt a small tap on the shoulder. it had been Matthew, "hao if you ever need any help with notes or lessons just let me know okay? we could study together if needed too!" he said with a smile that lit up the room even though the lights were on. "oh, of course, I'd be glad to, I'll see you around" hao smiled towards the sunshine boy and grabbed his bag as he traveled to his next class.

somehow it had already become the end of hanbins shift for the day which meant he had to go back to his apartment to study the choreography that he would be teaching his students tonight. half of the class would be spent with basic freestyle dancing to random play music for warm-ups and the other half would be spent learning how to perfect specific choreographies based on what the trainee needed to improve. he placed the small box of treats on the counter of his table as he rested his head against the cold stone. he was tired, and he was a busy person, but he had never really let it show in front of others. he felt his phone buzz and groaned as he picked it up.

seok matthew: hanbin! i met the cutest boy in class today.

hanbin: oh really?? did you get his name??

matthew: ya, his names hao!

hanbin had placed his phone down as soon as he had read the message. it seemed to be that hao was finding his way into every small aspect of his life. as if the world was trying to tell him something, or send a message. he was baffled that his best friend had met someone he had encountered as well earlier on that day.

hanbin: ohh well what are your intentions?

matthew: hm well we might study together soon, maybe you could come along?

hanbin: oh thats ok, you enjoy your time together :)

matthew: ah okay!!

he couldn't be mad, he had just met hao yesterday and it was not like he had any interest in him as well. he was curious about the elder and his personality but he didn't believe it had been anything more than that. but why did he feel envious of matthew when he read that message when it's nothing serious between the two? that was a question he would have to leave for his future self.
