hanbin was a man of many talents, someone everyone knew and adored it was impossible not to love the guy. from being a barista in his mother's cafe during the day to a dance teacher at night all while balancing college. those around him always would speak so positively not only to his face but to others. he was hard to miss with his beautiful brown eyes and perfectly radiant skin. he truly was his mother's pride and joy, and it was hard for others not to feel the same way about someone they weren't even related to.
zhang hao, who had flown from his home all the way to South Korea to attend one of the nation's best colleges loved to play instruments, loved to sing, loved dance, and much more. everyone around him at home had thought he would use his passion towards his career, but he shocked them all when he said he would be studying business in Korea. of course, he wouldn't fully give up his passion, he just felt he had been making nothing of himself yet but there was always time to grow.

something in Hanbin told him to get up a bit earlier today. maybe it was his nervous brain overreacting to the rush of people he knew they would have at Mom's cafe today, or how many people he'd have to teach this new choreo to tonight.
hanbin walked into his living room where he sat on his phone and scrolled through his phone for a bit. checking texts from his co-worker's group chat always seemed to pass some time. whether it was Yujin complaining about having to wake up so early for classes, or Matthew sending his daily positive quotes and videos that no one truly took the time to watch, it still amused him that his friend group was rather unique.
yujinnie : "i swear I'm going to drop out of high school, whoever said I needed this was clearly wrong. I do not need to get up this early just to learn some algebra".
gunwook: "stop complaining and get your ass up we're both leaving and I don't see you at this door yet"
gyuvin: "I could kick both of your asses for waking me up this early, but i won't because i'm too lazy to get out of bed"
yujinnie: "hyung, you wouldn't really do that... would you :P"

hanbin's phone buzzes for a reason besides the drama he has seen unfold quite literally every morning...mom: hi son, i don't need you to come in today it's only fair you take some time off and focus on your studies.
hanbin: mom are you sure?!! it's going to be so busy and you will be able to take care of it all?
mom: yes I have your handsome friend Jiwoong with me to help me out today, besides who do you think I am a weakling, I got this hanbinnie. please take a break for me...
hanbin: fine but only if you promise you will call if you need ANYTHING. I will be there as fast as I can if so.
mom: I will be okay. But I promise I will call you. now stop texting me I need my beauty sleep, love u

hanbin put his phone down on the side table next to him. It would be nice to have a day off but he is still so worried about his mother, he knows she isn't a "weakling" as she would call it, but he doesn't want his mom to stress herself out. he trusts in Jiwoong to take care of her as best as he possibly can, plus he's sure his mom is loving any second she can get around his "handsome" best friend. he chuckles lightly thinking about how much his mom is probably swooning over his actor friend. she always would tell him that he should be the lead in a K-Drama with how beautiful his face was.
after deciding it had been enough time on his phone Hanbin walked over to his kitchen where he gathered a small pot of water to feed to his plants. "Ah you guys must be so dry in this heat, I'm sure some cold water will help!" he said as he poured the cold water into the soil of each plant. hanbin was someone who not only cared about how others were feeling but even down to how his plants were feeling.
alarmed by the sudden ringing of his phone on the table, Hanbin dropped the water pot onto the ground where it spilled all over his feet soaking the bottoms of his pajama pants. "Well, this is the kind of day I'm going to have today.." he scoffed as he walked over to his phone.
hanbin picked up the phone to his ear and mumbled a small, "Hello?". to his surprise, it was his dance manager calling."Good morning Hanbin, I wanted to let you know that I have arranged for you to meet with a new international dance student tonight after your group practice. he will be joining our academy and I hope my best teacher can show him around?".a new student? an international student? Hanbin wondered where in the world could the student possibly be from, if they were a girl or boy, and if they were around his age. the questions flooded his brain more than the soaked pj pants he currently had on. "Hello? Could you hear me Hanbin?" his dance manager spoke loudly, being shaken out of his thought he responded, "Of course, I can! What is their name, I'd love to be able to be polite on our first encounter."
"his name is Zhang Hao"
