the next morning hanbin woke up first, realizing he was wrapped in a small hold by hao's small arms. he kissed the boys wrist and lifted it over his body as the boy was still sound asleep. sitting up he saw hao's phone light up on the charger, he looked over and noticed a message.

lover: good morning! i can't wait to see you soon.

hanbin did a double take. what did he just read? he picked up hao's phone and looked again.

loverick: i miss you, it's lonely over here without you.

who was this person? hanbin put the phone down and sighed. he shouldn't be going through hao's phone, it just wasn't okay. he lifted himself off of the bed as he fixed the blanket over hao.

as hanbin walked out of the room, hao's phone buzzed once more.

lovericky: bitch wake your ass up, im done being corny.

if only hanbin had just waited a second more, he could have realized the situation wasn't as it seemed. maybe then his heart would ache less, maybe he would understand that hao wanted him. but it's as if hanbins eyes had gone blind each time before the reveal.

hao rolled over to a familiar smell, he could tell it from miles away, coffee. he unraveled himself from the blanket and made his way to the kitchen to meet hanbin.
hanbin was fixing himself some coffee, adding a splash of cream. he didn't like his coffee too creamy, but a splash was just right. "good morning" hao smiled. hanbin mumbled a morning under his breath as he grabbed his cup and sat at the table.
something was wrong, hao could feel it. hanbin usually was a bubbly person who would be excited to see hao no matter what instance. he showed his love through small acts of service like making hao a cup of coffee just as he liked it. but today he was different, his eyes didn't light up when he saw hao, the pot of coffee sat on the counter and no extra cup was next to it.
hao felt something shift in his stomach, did he do something to upset him..?

hanbin sipped on his coffee looking through instagram ignoring the boys presence. he needed to let himself be less attached to hao's existence, especially because hao had someone else. he was upset, he wasn't sure why hao even entertained him if there was someone else. he felt used.

"so are you just going to pretend im not here after we slept in the same bed last night?" hao spoke sternly.

hanbin turned around to look at the boy whose hands were in his hair creating knots from stress. hao was an empath, he could feel everyones emotions at all times, he never wanted to bring someone pain.

"you tell me, are you going to pretend like im dumb and dont know about your partner?" he shook his head in disbelief. all this time hao had just been playing him? he opened his heart, his home, his family to hao for him to repay him this way?

"im sorry, what?!" hao raised his voice. he was flustered, what was hanbin talking about?.

"you heard me, your phone gave you away, did you think i was stupid? that i wouldn't find out?" hanbin shook his head.

"what the fuck are you even talking about hanbin" he came closer, "seriously tell me because you're talking out of your ass" he spoke with annoyance.

"the person who texted you this morning saying that they missed you, and they couldn't wait to see you soon?, whose name was lover?" he spoke. hao still confused spoke, "i haven't even looked at my phone today?". "well you should" he scoffed.

hao walked to grab his phone from the nightstand unlocking it and seeing three new notifications from ricky, but nothing from any said "lover".

"the only person i have texts from is ricky, he's my best friend" he spoke confused, he continued to open the message where he saw what ricky had said. laughing he looked up at an angry hanbin.

"you're actually blind hanbin-ah" he choked out, showing the messages from ricky to hanbin. hanbin turning a deep red, realizing he had missed half of the contact name..
