Deal

(Pascal strikes a deal with Ipas. Takes place before the events of "There's Something About Ipas". Will also be a scene in Miniforce "Abridged")

A black cat creeps out of the shadows. She pears around with her wide, chocolate brown eyes inspecting her surroundings with caution. She can't be caught. Not now.
Not ever.

After making sure that no one's there, she returns back to the shadows to transform into her ranger suit. I may stick out more, She thinks, but I'll travel more ground this way. She pears up at the dark night sky above her, Besides, in the dark of night, I'll blend in better.

Her now helmeted head peaks out of the shadows, making sure that no one is there since last time. What little light the moon is giving adds a shining gleam to the bright, yellow eye-like pieces on her helmet as she confirms no one is there. She takes a light step out of the shadows.

Nothing happens.

She dashes towards the nearest place she could hide at. She suddenly feels a jolting stop even as she can still feel her legs trying to run forward. I-What's going on!? She thinks as panic seeps in. She begins struggling to try and escape, but it seems to be of no use. She isn't going to stop though, she needs to get out even if she can feel her feet being slowly lifted off the ground.

"I suggest you stop struggling," She hears a calm voice suggest. She stops moving as fear pricks her body.

"Who are you?" She asks as she tries to hide her fear.

"I am Pascal," The voice answers as he steps into view. He's a purple lizard in a Miniforce suit as he holds a tall staff with a curved tip with a dome in the center at the top, "You are Ipas, correct?"

"Are you with the Miniforce?!" She asks quickly as her fear is getting harder to hide by the minute. How does he know my name!?

"No, I assure you I'm not," He says gently, "I, like you, am a former Miniforce agent and I thought we could help each other." There's a smile in his voice.

She's still on edge, but knowing the stranger isn't with the Miniforce has comforted her a bit. She still doesn't trust him, "How do you know we can help each other?" She asks skeptically.

"I can see you're someone whoooo.... values their privacy," He answers as he brings his free hand to his chestplate, "I can help you achieve that." He uses his staff to bring her closer to the ground.

This deal piques her interest, but she remembers what he said: We could help each other. Her feet touch the ground as she remembers this. While she's not floating anymore, she can still feel the magic stopping her from escaping, "What do I have to do for you then?"

"It's a simple mission you can easily accomplish," He answers calmly with a roll of his head. He walks up to her, "Is it a deal?" He outstretches his free hand towards her.

She stares at it for a moment, "Promise?" She asks as she looks back at him.

He flicks his staff and she can feel the magic releasing her, "Promise," He says gently.

She takes his hand, "Deal."

This is going to be the opening scene in the Miniforce "Abridged" version of "There's Something About Ipas", so I hope you're excited for it when I get there because I sure am!
