A humored smile replaced his haughty one and he took a few steps toward her. She eyed Ominis suspiciously as he reached out towards her. He lifted her chin without any sign of hesitation and made her look look up at him. Their faces close to each other.

"You will."

Nastily Exhausting Wizard Tests

Tessa smacked his hand away, "Don't get in my way next time." She outright refused to be one of his followers. He had plenty to keep himself company.

"That's rather difficult what with being blind and all." Ominis pointed out.

She meant to quip back, but the sound of voices carrying in the wind made them both stop. Ominis joined her, casting the Disillusionment Charm. Though she couldn't see him, she could feel his presence closer to her as they looked up at the bridge near the courtyard. One of the lanterns was blocking someone's face, but she could make out the Headmaster opposite of him.

"It's time to start cleaning. This poor excuse for a school is crawling with bugs." A deep voice grumbled. Much too deep to be a student.

Headmaster Black shrugged, "It's a new age. We're more...inclusive...now. Not of my accord, of course. The Black family remains pure both in blood and ideology."

Tessa bristled. She meant to call out, but a hand covered her mouth. The subtle scent of lemongrass surrounded her and a voice quietly spoke next to her ear, tickling it. "You need to leave. Now."

Ominis pulled her along back into the castle, uncasting the charm. His expression was unreadable and his tone just as void. "Get back to the Gryffindor Common Room."

"What did I say about taking orders from you?"

He brought his hand to his mouth and whistled. A couple Prefects that had been patrolling nearby walked over. She recognized Natsai Onai, a Gryffindor Prefect with another Hufflepuff Prefect, but she didn't know his name.

"Theresa?" She frowned, "What are you doing here with Gaunt?"

"She won't take orders from me." Ominis drawled out with the ghost of a smile on his face, "Will you tell her to go back to the Gryffindor Common Room?"

Tessa scowled, glancing briefly at Natsai. "No need." And headed towards the Common Room.

She was still annoyed about the exchange last night, but Tessa was preoccupied with her N.E.W.T level studies. She had the same curriculum between six and seventh year with two exceptions. She had received an outstanding on her O.W.L.S and thus studied in an advanced class with Professor Ronen.

However...she was absolutely awful at potions. Professor Sharp had explicitly told her that he'd sooner get rid of his limp than her be able to brew a successful invigoration potion that was required at the fifth year level.

Due to this, the Professor had set up extra lessons for her after dinner. Part of her wanted to refuse as it was typically Slytherins that were best at brewing potions, and she'd probably lose her temper again if blood status was called into question again. After Hogwarts, she would have to find her place in the world while actively avoiding him looking for her. The muggle world and the Wizarding world both felt as if they were closing in on her.

The potions classroom was empty save for two brown haired students that were coincidently twins. Seeing her first, Anne's eyebrows shot up to her hairline. "You're the student that Sebby's tutoring?"
