"Are you almost done with that?" The unexpected question came from Ominis.
She looked over, raising an eyebrow and pulled the confectionary out of her mouth with a pop. "It's a lolly Ominis, not a chocolate bar. I'm barely halfway done."
Ominis without any provocation grabbed her hand and pulled her underneath a spiral staircase. She looked up at him in surprise, her stomach turning as she saw his expression. It was the same one as earlier before he had enraptured her.
"I've had to listen to you sucking on that sugar quill for the last fifteen minutes." He pointed out with a heated look.
She paused, tilting her head. "And how's that my problem, Gaunt? You could always cast the silencing charm on me again."
He leaned in, hearing her breath hitch. The corner of his lip rose and he leaned down more, wrapping his lips around the lolly, and pulled it away from her. He grinned, taking a step back from her, "Are you coming? Or were you expecting more Sweetheart?"
Tessa flushed with irritation. "That was mine."
"If you want it back, take it." He challenged.
Finder's Keepers
Tessa looked at him with wary trepidation. "You're ridiculous." She reached out her hand to take the stick piece resembling a quill, but he grabbed her hand, intertwining their fingers.
"Not with that hand." He mused. She reached for the sugar quill with her other hand only for him to do the exact same thing with his free hand. "Not that one either."
Tessa raised her eyebrows, "Then how do you expect me to grab it?"
"Put that disobedient mouth to good use." Ominis reflected with an unruly smile.
She could smell the lemon confectionary from his mouth. Tessa pulled her hands behind her, causing Ominis to start closing the distance between them. He raised an eyebrow, waiting for a snarky response or maybe even for her to give in to her own desires. However, she needed to teach him that she wasn't always at his mercy nor at his beck and call whenever he felt the urge. The potion was making him impulsive and he would pay the price for it. Not to say that she didn't enjoy herself while he was at it.
She rose up on her toes, placing a teasing kiss on the corner of his mouth where he had smiled. It faltered for a moment, realizing her intentions. He didn't actually expect her to rise up to the challenge. His mistake.
Tessa trailed up his jaw line, hearing his own breath start to hitch and his body pressed closer against hers. Rather than be trapped by his body with no where to run, she spun them so that his back was now pushed up against the wall. She felt his grip loosen. Almost there.
Pushing her lower body against his, she whispered in his ear, "Let me touch you."
That did the trick with his hands letting hers go, but instead of dropping to his side; he placed them on her behind to keep her pressed against him. Desire flared through Tessa and she struggled to suppress it. She brushed her lips against his...only to take the quill sticking out with her mouth, and pushed off of him. Tessa took the lolly, flipping it around so the confectionary was back in her mouth. The perverse side of her relished in the fact that it had been in Ominis' mouth. Tessa walked away from him, not looking back as she stepped out from underneath the staircase.
