15. Laxus

I walked slowly at the construction site but as I'm nearing, i didn't sense it coming and was hit by a barrel on my face.

BANG.

Tch. Why is there a flying barrel now?

Rubbing my face, my eyes fell on a scarlet looking hair. And she looks like she's arguing on some blonde guy sitting in front of her with some headphones on his head. Hmm..

I walked a little bit closer behind everyone and heard everything. Laxus? He smells like Makarov. My eyes fell on the person in front of me and poke them to get her attention. The girl turned around with a confused face but it turn into a surprise when she sees me.

“ I apologize for doing that” i said to her. “ But who is that blonde guy?”

She follows my gaze and let out a sigh.

“ That's Laxus, he's the master's grandson” she said that shocked me.

Grandson? I didn't know Makarov got children or get married. Man.. i sure had missed A Lot of things this time. Blinking a bit, i look back to the blonde guy who's laughing now. I don't like his attitude, he's too cocky and it was the worse. If he is really Makarov's grandson then there's a possibility that he will become the new master of Fairytail when he retires.

“ Once i inherit the guild, I'm kicking every last wimp out and everyone who goes in my way. I'm going to create the most powerful guild! The most powerful guild in the history that no one will be able to mock it!” he said before laughing. Just hearing his voice infuriates me and i can't help but to butted in.

“ That's not gonna happen..” i said. It caught everyone's attention and his eyes turn to me. “ You can dream on becoming the master but that won't happen while I'm here... Goldilocks”

“ Enlil” i heard someone say it but my eyes remain on the man glaring at me. I smirked to him and there's a low growl coming from him. I think he knows about me..

“ And what are you gonna do about it huh, girly” he said.

The others turned their attention to me and i give him another smirk. This guy needs some fixing to do...

“ You know that one word from me and Makarov will do what i say, and besides you don't have the ability to become master especially on Fairytail. You should fix those loose screw first on your head before calling these people wimp” i said.

I can see some veins that pop on his forehead, then suddenly there's some cracking around me and bolts of lightning hit me directly. Though it felt weird.. like it was tickling me and it didn't even hurt. What's with these lightning..

“ Laxus! Stop it!”

“ You bastard!”

“ Natsu, stop!”

I heard their screams until the lightning disappeared, making me blink.

“ That tickles..” i said. Wondering what just happened and how it didn't even affect me. I look at him and i can see a surprise look on his face.

“ I-It didn't affect her?”

“ Amazing.. she's strong!”

I continue to look at that Laxus guy and i can tell that he's getting angry with everything, and if looks could kill i would probably be six feet under the ground already at how hard he's glaring at me. Suddenly, there's lightning that surge through his body before he disappear.

Sigh. That was quick. I turn to the side and starts walking at the camp, ignoring the words from everyone and take a seat in front of the counter.

“ Good morning Ms. Enlil, what can i do for you?” the barmaid girl with white hair said making me blink. She has a huge smile spread on her face and it made me smile too.
