75. Dragon Bones

“ How did you met him? Servien?” i ask. My hands holding a cup of tea that Irene had offered to me.

After my breakdown upon seeing my home, the place that i had once lived onto. I can't help but breakdown when everything came crushing down on me. All the memories flooded my mind that gets me overwhelmed. Though i was glad when Irene didn't say or ask anything once i had calm down. Irene offered her home to me, though i don't want to intrude, she herself told me that it was fine. Considering that she sees Servien as part of her family, and so am i. I was surprise when she suddenly declared it. But something inside me, a warm feeling spread through my heart. It really touches my heart.

“ It was a long time ago” Irene said. Her figure appeared before she sat on the opposite side, in front of me.

“ When the palace I'm living in where still intact along with dragons also living there. I can still remember when Belserion told me to come with him and that he wants me to meet someone. I thought he was trying to set me up with someone” she said and chuckles a bit.

I can help but smile, her laugh were soft and genuine. Though i noticed the sadness that flashes on her eyes before it was gone the moment it appeared.

“ Belserion brought me up to a clearing. A few distance away from the kingdom. I was curious that time on what he wants to show me but then.. when we get there i was surprised upon seeing another dragon. It's not just any dragon, it has golden scales and even a bit larger than Belserion himself. It's how i met him, Servien. Belserion told me about an island that is hidden from everyone. Like us, there are dragons too and how there are people called as dragon keepers. Belserion and Servien told me everything, even you. ” she said.

‘ What?’

Irene must have notice the look on my face and smile at me.

“ Servien told me once that there is someone, a girl, that he's keeping company and chosen as his keeper. He told me everything about you. Even when i got curious on how you look like, he told me that it's not time yet to meet you” she said once again making me furrow my eyebrows.

I was confused on how Servien seems to always meet up with them without me knowing? And how come he didn't told me about them. About Irene nor Belserion.

“ How come he didn't tell me anything about you or Belserion before?” i ask since that question has been bugging me.

“ Maybe it's because he doesn't want you to get in trouble. Or he doesn't want to trigger your adventurous side” she said with a hint of teasing on her voice. I was surprised that she even knows about that part of me. My face heats up from embarrassment wondering what things Servien had told them about myself.

Irene laughs at me and i give her a playful glare making her stop from laughing and grin at me.

It was already night time. Though it's not that dark with the stars shining bright above the sky. I can still see the city from here. When Irene offered her home, i learned that she's living in a cozy but comfortable house up in the mountains. I was surprised about it and Irene told me that she likes living far from the city. The silence and peace it brought to her is so calming and relaxing. If I'm going to build my own house once again I'd like to live in a place like this. Or i can just buy another land if ever I'd retire being a mage of fairytail.

Sigh.

I turn my body sideways. Eyes looking outside. I wonder what's the current situation with the others on grand magic games. I just hope that they won't cause much trouble.

Tomorrow I'm going to explore more on the island... Irene told me that she's going somewhere and would be back when the sun set and was fine and told me to feel free moving around the house and get comfortable. She's kind to offer it to me without asking for something in return.
