~ Third Person POV ~

"Are you gonna tell me where are we going?"

"We are going somewhere special."
It was a sunday morning and Lucas asked Rosella to get dressed as they were going out but he didn't tell her where.

There was something about Lucas that changed Rosella thought. Since she had started living with him, she has started to know this man even better than before. And one thing is for sure that he has a whole different side of him that not much people know.

The chauffeur stopped the car at an orphanage.
"How do you know this place? " Rosella was shocked that Lucas brought her here.

"Well I run this place. "

"You do?" Rosella was a bit surprised to know that Lucas owns this places as she often comes here whenever she has some time, she would come visit the kids. She would also bring them presents on Christmas.

The orphanage was run by the Jones Co.
Liam Jones (father of Lucas) started it 20 years ago and now Lucas runs it and makes sure that it is taken good care of.

After his father's death and his mother in comma, he would often come here to find peace while spending some time with the kids.

Thought both of them came here but they never met each other.

All the kids encircled Lucas and Rosella when they saw them entering the playground area.

Both of them played with the kids whichever game they suggested. They even did a girls Vs boys tug of war match. Though Lucas could only use only one of his hand but he still participated for the boys team.

As today the two favourite people of the kids came together to meet them they were just so happy that they did not leave Lucas and Rosella a chance to breath and kept on suggesting different games.

After spending time with the kids Lucas walked around the Orphanage to look at the structure and it's facilities to make sure if any maintenance or renovation is required.

Rosella decided to assist him and both of them took a walk around and while walking Lucas told her about how his father started this orphanage.

Rosella noticed the way Lucas talked about his father, he felt so happy, so proud of his father not even once he said that he did it all himself but instead he is looking after what his father left behind.

"You know I would never visit this place before. But after dad left and mom was in comma I started coming here to find some peace."

"Dad loved kids, and he always wanted to do things for the society. He built shelters and orphanages to help the unprivileged. I didn't realise the reason as why he loved doing those things until now when I started spending time with the kids."

All the while listening to Lucas, Rosella couldn't stop but to admire him even more.

"Your father was a great man, and I am sure he is very proud of you from up there. " Rosella pointed up in the sky. This brought a smile on his face.

It was almost sunset time and the chauffeur drove to a place away from the city. It was another place Lucas didn't tell Rose they were going.

The car stopped near a beach. Rosella was again excited as she loved beaches. When they got off the car she immediately ran towards the water and removed her shoes and played in the water.

The waves washed over her feet and she felt so good, 'today was just perfect' she thought. Lucas didn't disturbed her little moment of joy and just looked at her from a distance.
