Zilean motions for me to stand.
"Well go on and tell us your name and a little bit about yourself", he adds.
Reluctantly, I stand while letting out a sigh.
"Hi, names Y/N L/N, I just recently moved here from Targon with my brother. Not much to know about me really, except I like music."
I feel a pair of eyes practically burning holes in my head, so I turn to the side while looking around. There's a lot of people looking at me, but one person in particular sticks out to me.
A girl, with bright blue hair and gold rimmed circular glasses. She gives me a devilish smile and a quick wave. Do I know her? I couldn't help thinking to myself. She doesn't seem familiar to me at all, yet she's looking at me like she knows exactly who I am.
I just give her an awkward half smile and sit back down in my chair. The class goes by pretty uneventfully. Zilean is the history teacher for the school. He's also very adamant about his pocket watch he keeps in his coat. The entire class I kept catching glimpses of the blue hair girl taking glances at me. A few times I saw Kai'sa in her notebook doodling alongside her notes. She can draw pretty well, which makes me wonder if she does more besides dancing in her free time.
Thes rest of the day before lunch surprisingly went by fairly quickly. Me and Al have the same science class so we decided to be lab partners. Unfortunately though I don't know anyone in my Math class. Next problem on my agenda, where to sit for lunch. My eyes scan the lunch room looking for somewhere to sit. While looking around I feel someone's arm hook around mine and drag me off.
"Come with me, you're gonna sit with us today darling."
It's the girl from before, from my history class. I was kinda looking around for my brother or even Kai'sa and her friends. But I guess this is my life for now. We finally arrived at the table this girl was dragging me to and she sat down.
"Oh how terribly rude of me, my name's Evelynn", she finally says.
She points across the table from her.
"That there is Jacob, he plays for our little football team. To my left there is Sarah."
Jacob looks up from his food and simply waves with a smile. He has slicked back blonde hair, and I can only assume that's his varsity jacket on the back of the chair. Sarah on the other hand doesn't even look up from her phone. She blows a strand of her bright red hair out of her face before giving me a nonchalant wave.
Evelynn then speaks up again, " Dylan is still making his way here from Math class, but he plays on the football team as well."
I finally pull out a chair and take a seat on the opposite end of the table meant to sit 8.
I give a warm smile and wave of the hand, "My names Y/N, nice to meet you both."
"Same", Sarah says plainly without looking up from her phone.
Jacob scarfs down a piece of his pizza while trying to speak.
"Mmfmgmhfm", is all it sounds like.
Evelynn punches him in the shoulder.
"How many times do all of us have to say don't eat with a mouthful", she yells at him.
Jacob swallows down hard, "Sorry Eve, you know I don't get much time at lunch, coach needs to talk to me again today while I have free time."
Eve sighs, putting her hand to her face.
"I know but still, it's disgusting when food flies from your mouth like that." Evelynn then turns towards me and smiles. "We usually have two or three more people that join us for lunch, at least one of them is stuck in class. the other however, she's away from school for a few more days."
