Y/N POV

My eyes flutter open to an almost forgotten sight.  The ceiling was a light purple covered all over in stars that glow in the dark.  The walls are covered in various posters of pop idols and boy bands, as well as notes of achievement in sports and academics.

The soft breeze on my face was being produced by a fan hanging from the ceiling slowly spinning.  Music was being played from a single earbud in my left ear.  A bed with a gray comforter was beneath me as I lay on my back.  My eyes wandered along the cord hanging from my ear to where the right earbud was.  It led into the ear of a Vastayan fox girl with black hair.  Ahri, she laid there humming along, eyes closed to the song, rocking her head side to side.

We were both back to young teenagers, and laying in Ahri's room back in Ionia.  The song suddenly paused as Ahri turned onto her side to face me.

"You know, you don't ever have to leave this bed here with me", Ahri says.

I knew I was in a dream but it seemed like it played out more like a memory.  Like I was being forced to remember something by watching these events over.

"I wish it worked that way, I don't want to", I answered, also turning to my side.  By this point we had both removed our respective earbuds and were facing each other.

"I also don't want to leave, I'm so nervous Y/N", she said anxiously.  "What if I fail, what if I don't succeed."

I inch ever slightly closer," You'll be amazing, the fact you even have this chance speaks enough.  The world is going to love you."

Ahri also inches slowly closer.

"Being an online celebrity is different from the real thing, what if the world doesn't like the real me", she questions more aggressively this time.

"Well, you'll never know until you take the chance.  Things like this involve risk", I reassure Ahri, reaching out for her hand.

Ahri reaches out to my hand as well, where our fingers interlock with each other.  Our fingers wrap around each other ever so delicately.

"But I know you're strong, you won't let anything stop you.  Everything you've ever done has always been all out", I continue to try and ease her nerves.

"I wish you weren't also moving away", she blushes before continuing. "I really wish you could be here with me."

"I want to be here for you too, but I know you'll do fine without me", I tell her, moving even closer.

"But how can you be so sure",she suddenly exclaims.

Ahri moves even closer, matching my movement.  We were so close now I could feel her breath against my face.

"Because I know you Ahri.  My favorite thing about you is that strength you have inside.  Now I want you to show the world the strength I see in you.  I want you to go out there and show them what you're made of."

I couldn't make out what she said next.  The only part I could hear was my name as our lips moved closer and closer. Tears of joy peaked their way out from her yellow piercing eyes. Her breath on my lips felt so soothing and warm.  Right before our lips touch I feel myself awaken.  My dream ends as I come to in my bedroom.

I hadn't thought of that time in so long.  I don't know what has been happening to me lately.  All these new experiences must be having a weird effect on me.

As I slowly wake up I start to drag myself out of my bed to start my morning routine.  It was Saturday which meant my first official week of my new school life was over.  Throwing on a black shirt with a black pair of shorts.
