Y/N POV

Walking to school took out all the energy I had this morning.  If saying my first day at school was incredibly long, the three days after that were basically flashes.  The day after I went to eat pizza with new friends and catching up with an old friend, everything seemed to speed by.  After my second day of school, Evelynn invited me to tag along with herself, Sarah, and Dylan to go to the mall.  Evelynn has a thing for fashionable clothes and wanted to go shopping.  Evelynn throws around her money like she's made of it, to the point I had no idea someone her age could be that rich.  Apparently she was a child actress early on in her life until she got to high school.  Sarah also bought a bunch of new clothes as well.  Sarah, I learned, has such an eye for luxury she earned the nickname Sarah Fortune.  Dylan and I were the only guys that tagged along, and we just kind of sat back and watched.  Of course, we also had to carry their bags.

The mall is fairly close to the school, so a lot of kids will come hang out here after classes. Very cliche'd, but it is what it is.  The food court has cheap food and quick snacks and seems to profit off its proximity to the school.

The third day was spent with Kai'sa and her group of friends.  Aphelios doesn't always like to go out during the day, but he wanted to come with us.  We spent the end of the day walking around watching the different groups of sports teams practicing.  We sat on the gym's mezzanine while Aphelios and Cam watched the wrestling team practice.

Ever since I ran out at Azir's the other night Kai'sa has been trying to get me to talk about it.  She has been sounding more and more concerned, like she won't rest until she knows I'm okay.

"It scared me, it freaked a bunch of us out and I just want to make sure everything is okay," Kai'sa says to me.

I start with a sigh," Look it's, it's complicated and I'm fine.  Really I am, I was just startled because I received a call from a friend I did not expect to hear from at all.  It had almost been half a year since I talked to them, and even then we didn't talk for long."

"Are you sure that's it, promise," she asks with concern?

"Yeah I mean it, promise," I say to put her at ease.

Even Aphelios was worried about me, he's just not as insistent about it.  He has seen what Ahri does to me first hand, and more than anyone.  Plus in the last few days it seems like Aphelios has had something on his mind as well.  I rarely ever see Aphelios glued to his phone, but the last few days it's all he can look at.  I'll have to ask him about it at some point.

After the wrestling team finished up, we spent the rest of the day shooting basketballs with Cam so he could get some extra practice in.  Although, we probably didn't provide much competition.

And now, after school today, Ezreal was coming over to practice at Aphelios and It's house.  We had 4 days left to come up with something to perform.  I figured it would be easier to teach Ezreal to play a song we've already written then come up with something new.  It's been a long time since I've tried to perform any of our songs.  I've already decided though that I won't let fear and anxiety hold me back.

"So, you guys have already recorded songs before," Ezreal asks while tuning his bass?

"Yeah," Aphelios answers. "Not really in any professional capacity.  More like, we bought cheap equipment and made it in our basement."

"Cool, I've never recorded anything, but I've done plenty of performances.  Have you guys ever performed what you've made before?" He asks.

"Once", I answered looking up from my own bass guitar tuning.  "It didn't really go well, long story."
