Y/N POV

Wow my aching head.

Is the first thing I could think to myself. I just had the weirdest dream. Kai'sa confessed that she's interested in me, and wants to get to know me more, and then Ahri shows up with Evelynn at my front door. I know I was supposed to meet Ahri next Tuesday, could that be why I had a dream like that. Ezreal was on his way over and we were set to practice. Now I can't figure out how I fell asleep.

I can't really make anything of my thoughts. My head is pounding.

"I still think we should at least call the hospital."

Was that Ezreal's voice I heard?

"Nah, he'll come around soon enough."

That time it was a rough and gruff voice I don't recognize.

"For once, I actually agree with Ezreal here."

Now I know that was Kai'sa's voice.

I kept trying desperately to get my eyes to open so I could see what was going on. Even though I struggled I felt comfortably numb. I couldn't really move either of my arms or legs. Behind my head however it felt soft. I could then start to feel a hand brush across my forehead and move hair out of my face.

It was at that touch my eyes started to flutter. It was bright, too bright. And I felt annoyed at all the sound and chatter around me.

In a little bit of a daze I was able to muster, "Can you all not be so loud?"

I was finally able to sit up. As I sat up, I was facing towards my front door. I could recognize I was also lying on the couch.

And then I heard it, that all too familiar voice.

"Looks like you finally decided to wake up, sleepy head. Here I was prepared to let you lay in my lap all night. Though, it's kind of my fault you're in this spot to begin with."

It was Ahri, and my arms and legs were no longer frozen anymoremore. I sat fully up and adjusted myself to a single couch cushion.

Dylan and Ahri were seated on the two spots to my right. Evelynn and Taliyah occupied the other half of the L-shaped couch.

"See I told you he would wake up soon", the rough voice said.

"Don't be naive Sett, he could still be really hurt", Aphelios countered.

So that's Sett that Aphelios was talking about. He wasn't lying, that was one big guy.

But, that would have to wait until later. My focus immediately shifted to the large and blue eyes that felt like they were staring right through me out the back of my skull.

Out of the corner of my left eye I could see Evelynn flashing the widest grin I'd thought possible. Why do I feel like she had something to do with all this?

It's a little overwhelming everything coming at me right now. Was it always so bright here?

"Y/N you doing okay", Ahri asks with extreme concern.

I guess some things never change. Ahri has always worried about me a great deal.

I don't know what is compelling me, but I feel like I need to get out of here.

I grab Ahri by the hand, and drag her along me towards the stairs leading upstairs. We needed to talk but I didn't want to do it here. I felt like I was about to have a nervous breakdown.

As I was about halfway up the stairs with Ahri in tow, I could hear Evelynn get in a quick joking jab before we were out of ear shot.

"Oh my, stealing her away so soon already. What will we all think? "Evelynn gave a sinister laugh.
