1 Week Since The Audition

Kai'sa POV

I sat stuck unable to concentrate on History class.  Y/N hasn't been to school in about 4 days, and he won't answer anyone's messages or phone calls.  It's been a rough week for the boys in Lucidity.  After the audition was received with mostly positive reactions from the Performance Club, the boys had a big boost in morale.

That was until, Mr. Bard posted the acts of students who made it into the club on the school's social media pages.

Lucidity's performance quickly spread online within Piltover circles.  Students with negative reactions or parents calling for the end of days.  Their music certainly caught a flame underneath it, but that fire burned very hot.  Within days feedback was reaching the boys and it got to be a lot.  Y/N I think was taking it worst of all.

He knows it's not everyone's flavor of music, but he didn't expect the amount of hate they immediately garnered.  He had talked about how much effort it took him just to make it back onto a stage.  Aphelios had to clue us in on the more delicate and fine details, but we found one way or another.  Aphelios explained that a series of multiple incidents in Targon caused Y/N to have a breakdown.

I just wish Y/N would talk to us, I know it can't be easy, but we are all still his friends.  I got snapped from my thoughts by the bell ringing, signifying the end of class.  I packed up my book and notebook and put them in my backpack.

On my way to my locker I spotted Ahri changing out her books for her next class.  Maybe she knew what was going on with Y/N.  I won't lie and say I feel a weird pit in my stomach when I think about how close they are, but right now she's the most likely to know what's wrong with Y/N.  That and I don't ha e Aphelios's number, and we don't share any classes.

Kai'sa: "Hey Ahri, you got a moment?"

Ahri closes her locker and zips up her bag.

Ahri: "Oh hey Kai'sa, what's up?"

Kai'sa: "Have you heard from Y/N recently, he won't answer me."

Ahri's face quickly turns to that of anger with a clenched fist.

Ahri: "I asked if I could at least come over and talk to him, he told me no but if i wanted to call him later he'd see how he felt."

Ahri slammed her fist into her locker, making the kid next to her jump.

???: "Are you guys talking about that guy in all black from the audition tape."

Ahri and I both turned our attention the shorter freshman boy.

???: "Sorry, my names Amumu.  I really liked their audition clips, and I didn't mean to eavesdrop."

Amumu hung his head sheepishly in embarrassment.  He tucked his hands behind his back and shuffled in place back and forth

Amumu: "Sorry but I couldn't overhear you were trying to get him to talk to you, again.  I saw what people were saying online.  If you do see him can you hand him this note.  It's just something to let him know I appreciate what him and those other guys did."
