Y/N Perspective

The rest of the day went by pretty normally.  After lunch I have P.E. where I could either choose to play a sport, walk around the gymnasium's mezzanine, or just sit and use the time as a study hall.  Although, on more than one occasion I noticed Mr. Mundo, the P.E. teacher, giving students a disapproving face for sitting and studying.  Probably because the class is called Physical Education for a reason.  Mr. Mundo is also the school's Football coach, as well as a professional strongman.  Regardless of what his job title is, he's easily the biggest man I think I've ever seen.

My next class of the day though, and is kind of quickly becoming my favorite, is Civics.  It's taught by a man named Ryze.  In class we basically learn about the different countries of the world.  Considering this school's student population is the biggest melting pot of different countries in the world, there's a lot to learn.  I never thought I would be as interested in the different political landscapes of the world.  But, I've also never really traveled or lived outside of Targon until now.

"Honestly, that class alone might make the others all that much more bearable", I tell Kai'sa and Aphelios, the both of whom came to meet me at my locker.

Classes were over for the day, so Kai'sa was going to introduce Aphelios and I to the Performance Club.  She was telling us about how the different groups of the Performance club worked.

"So basically, the club is broken into three groups.  Those being Dance, Theater, and Music.  They get broken down into smaller categories beyond that.  But, that's really all up to the person joining".

Kai'sa has been explaining how the club works while we follow after her through the school grounds.

"So what does the club do, is it just like an after school thing for fun", I ask.

"Well actually, the club competes all over Runeterra.  Only the top performers get to travel", Kai'sa continues to explain.

She continues," And each group has a set of students that organize events for the groups.  Like, at the end of the year we hold a festival for three days, and each group takes a turn giving a series of performances."

At that, I could tell what Aphelios was already going to ask me.

"Y/N, don't you think it would be cool to do something like that."

I dig my hands I to my pockets and fake a enthusiastic answer.

"Yeah, that would be awesome", I lie.

"Don't get to far ahead of yourselves, you still have to be let into the club", Kai'sa interjects.

"You have to accomplish one thing first, impress the students assigned as heads of your group of choice.  And, well, I guess two things.  You also have to impress the administrator of the club to let you in", Kai'sa also adds.

"Wait so it's like a test", I ask.

"Mhm", Kai'sa replies with a half smile. "Don't worry though I bet you'll do fine.  If you aren't prepared now, you get up to a week to create your induction performance."

Aphelios let's out a sigh at hearing that," Thats good atleast, cause I definitely need to de-rust.  Plus, me and Y/N have songs, but it's a little hard to perform them just us two."

Kai'sa's smile wains a bit,"Yeah that could be a problem."

I cut back in," We'll figure it out, I truly want to get better at performing and making music.  This feels small compared to other mental hurdles I still have to jump over."
