Aarohi glanced at her phone, the unexpected call causing a flicker of concern in her chest. She exchanged a look with Rashmika, one that screamed seriously? Rashmika shrugged in response, but the playful smirk on her face suggested she was eager for the drama that might unfold. Aarohi hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the moment before finally answering.

"Aarohi: Vansh bhai, kaise ho aap?" she greeted, her voice bright but edged with tension.

"Vansh: Mein to theek hun... Lekin tu pagal hai kya?" he replied, a hint of worry creeping into his tone.

"What happened, bhai?" Aarohi asked, sensing the impending reprimand.

"Vansh: Tere saath itna bada incident ho gaya aur tune mujhe batana bhi zaroori nahi samjha... Tujhe kuch hua to nahi na? Mein aata kya?"

Aarohi felt a knot tighten in her stomach. "Relax, bhai... Mein theek hun. Aur ik dam fit. Haan, bas sir pe thodi si chot aayi thi par woh bhi theek hai ab," she reassured him, trying to sound more confident than she felt.

"Vansh: Tujhe Officer Sinha ne warn kiya tha na? Aur tune unhe bhi nahi bataya... How can you be so careless?"

Aarohi shot another look at Rashmika, whose eyebrows were raised in amusement. Great, just great. Sab kuch bata diya iss akal ki dushman ne... Yeh Gabbar Singh aur akal ki dushman kam thi jo abhi bhai bhi... O God, please bacha lo mujhko, she thought, rolling her eyes internally.

"Vansh: Aaru... Kahan kho gayi?" His voice snapped her back to the conversation.

"Aarohi: Bhai, subah se taane aur daant hi sun rahi hun," she admitted, exhaling dramatically.

"Vansh: Toh kaam hi aise mat kiya kar na. Medicine khayi?"

"Aarohi: Haan," she replied, feeling a bit sheepish.

"Vansh: Apna khayal rakha kar, bacha... Kaash mein bhi Delhi mein hota. Tere paas tujhe protect kar pata, tere sath khara hota aisi situation mein... Sorry, Aaru," he said, his voice laced with genuine concern.

"Aarohi: Bhai, why are you feeling sorry?" she asked, touched yet slightly confused.

"Rashmika: Bhai, aapko dukh kyun ho raha hai? Apne Aaru ko nahi bachaya ya mere bhai ne bachaa liya?" she teased, a playful grin plastered on her face.

"Vansh: Apka konsa bhai, madam?" he shot back, laughter lacing his voice.

"Rashmika: ACP Rajveer Sinha... The most dashing police officer in Delhi!" she declared with mock pride, her eyes twinkling.

"Vansh: Acha... Vijay se bhi dashing?" he quipped, a playful challenge in his tone.

"Rashmika: Dono handsome hain, na bhai... That's why they are best friends!" she laughed, clearly enjoying the banter.

"Aarohi: Bhai, isko maro goli. Ghar pe kaise hai sab? Bhabi kaisi hai?" she asked, trying to steer the conversation back to family.

"Vansh: Sab theek hai. Maa aur Nikita bhut yaad karti hain tujhe," he replied, his voice softening as he mentioned their mother.

"Aarohi: Aur baaki sab?"

"Vansh: Chhod na... Aur fir kya chal raha hai?"

"Aarohi: Achha chal raha hai... Aapka business kaisa chal raha?"

"Vansh: Theek chal raha hai... Aur Rashmika, tumhara?" he replied, shifting the focus back to her.

"Rashmika: Are meri shaadi ho rahi hai, bhai. Aap aayoge na?"

"Vansh: Kab hai bhai shaadi?" he asked, curiosity piqued.

"Rashmika: Agle hafte," she said excitedly.

"Vansh: I'm extremely sorry, Rashi. Next week mera naye hotel ki inauguration hai toh..."

"Rashmika: It's okay, bro... Par zaroor aana uske baad," she replied, her disappointment overshadowed by understanding.

"Vansh: Promise, aur dher saare gifts launga... Ik lambi chori list bana ke bhej do dono," he joked, trying to lighten the mood.

They continued chatting, the warmth of family ties and shared laughter surrounding them like a comforting blanket.

Meanwhile, in a dimly lit room, tension crackled in the air. A figure sat tied to a chair, his eyes wide with fear, as another man loomed over him, a sinister smile creeping onto his face. Suddenly, the silence was shattered by the sharp sound of a bullet landing on the ground in front of them, its ominous presence sending shivers down the captive's spine.

"Man: Suna hai bare par nikal aaye hain kisi ke," the man said, leaning forward, his gaze penetrating.

"Person: Maaf kar dijiye, boss... Ainda aisa nahi hoga," the tied man stammered, desperation evident in his voice.

"Man: Maaf? Kaise maaf kardo tujhe? Teri wajah se mera jo itni siddat se banaya plan kharab hua, uska kya?" he hissed, anger bubbling beneath the surface.

"Person: Sir ji... Mein gujaris karta hu..."

"Man: Mujhe gaddar pasand nahi, aur tum logon ne mere hi naak ke neeche mujhe dokha diya. Iski saza to zaroor milegi," he threatened, the tension in the room thickening.

"Person: Boss, mein bhatak gaya tha... Aapko shikayat ka koi mauka nahi milega. Waada hai mera," he pleaded, his voice trembling.

"Man: Smirk* Meri purani aadat hai, Vikas. Mein ik galti dusri baar nahi dohraata," he replied, his voice laced with danger.

"Uff, kya yaar, tere chakkar mein meri neend kharab ho jayegi aaj," Vikas murmured, fear palpable in his tone.

"Person: Boss, mein sab bataunga... Mujhe jaane do..."

"Man: Jaa," he commanded, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Vikas looked at him in shock, his mind racing. The man simply smirked and gestured for his companion.

"Man: Chal jaa... Raghu, haath kholdo iske," he ordered.

Raghu stepped forward, releasing Vikas with a swift motion. Vikas immediately grabbed a nearby gun, raising it defiantly at Raghu.

"Vikas: Boss... kya befkuff aadmi ho tum... mujhpe bharosa?" he laughed nervously, trying to mask his fear.

In an instant, the man kicked him hard, and Vikas collapsed, unconscious.

"Raghu: Iska kya kare, boss?" Raghu asked, amusement dancing in his eyes.

"Man: Bahut kaam ka hai yeh. Bhaagne na paye. Minister ke pakre jane se aur bhi kaam bigad gaya hai mera. We can't take any risk," he replied, his voice steady, calculating.

"Raghu: Ji, boss... Kahin nahi bhagega yeh," he assured, a sly smile creeping across his face.

"Man: Yahan se bhaag ke jayega bhi kahaan?" he questioned, dismissing the idea with a wave of his hand.

"Raghu: Aap rukhoge?"

"Man: Nahi, mein jaa raha hun. Mujhe kuch aur sochna hoga ab. Is befkuff ki wajah se mera plan pe paani phir gaya. Iski update dete rehna," he instructed, already plotting his next move.

"Raghu: Fikar not, boss," Raghu replied, watching as the man prepared to leave.

With that, the man covered his face with a helmet and mounted his bike, disappearing into the darkness of the countryside, the tension in the room lingering like a shadow.
