Chapter 30- Rescued

Omniscient

"How the hell did you found us?" yelled a Mexican man as he stood up from the desk at the door.

"We neva did fi find you bloodcloth? I can specifically remember you have something for us" Ghost yelled as he walked up to his face.

"Ghost" a soft, weak voice said a little further in the dark corner.

"Baby Gurl!" Julian yelled as he turned on the lights and ran over to her.

"You can't take her" the figure said about to point his gun at Julian when Ghost shot him in the arm.

The figure bawled out in agony, while Ghost kept guard, Julian untied Jay.

"Are you ok?" Julian asked as he took Jay up from the chair.

"Not really" she replied and rested her head in the sink of his shoulders.

As they were about to exit, Ghost killed the man and made a phone call to the rest of the gang to get their asses here. The tone was evil and as Julian rested Jay in his van they gave each other a look which indicated that anything he (Ghost) was up to he agrees with it a hundred percent. Julian jumped in his van and drove off heading to the hospital. A few minutes passed with Ghost standing in the dark outside of the warehouse waiting for back up to do the task at hand. The silence in the air was all there was, other than the night crickets that were chirping away in the dark.

The guys showed up all dressed in black with their guns in hand, they knew exactly what they were going to do, so they got in position then they attacked. That once silent place turned into an arena of noise as shots fired viciously. That lone chirps of crickets turned into a firecracker of lead from one party to another. Soon the silence ran over the atmosphere, that once had noise pollution that ran for a whole 30 minutes had died down, there was no more shots and no more crickets to sing their wonderful tunes. Damani and the others walked out in silence, then separated themselves as they all entered their vehicle.

Hospital

"Mr. Black", the voice from behind said. Julian turned to see the doctor waiting on him to acknowledge him.

"Yes, what's the verdict?"

"Julianna is fine now, we managed to flush her system of the toxin, she's on some fluid to help her get hydrated. A little rest and she's good as new."

"Thank you, can I go see her now"

"Sure"

Julian entered the room and walked over to Julianna.

"Baby gurl, you up?"

"I am now", she said reaching out for a hug.

"Even in your worse you gotta be sassy don't"

"I got it from you" Julianna responded with a chuckle.

"Hey!" Ghost called out from the door.

"Everything good?" Julian asked.

"Yah man, good as gold" Ghost said as he entered the room.

"Gonna leave you two for a minute"

"I know u wanna say, I told u so" Julianna said looking over at him.

"Yah...I would, but I'm glad u good"

"Thanks for the rescue."

"Your dad did all the work. I'm gonna leave u to rest. Tomorrow."
