"Mr Nakahara and Mr.- I'm sorry, I don't know your name." The teacher said as he came out, and crossed his hands, looking at both of the boys.
"It's Motojiro Kaji." Kaji said with a slight frown. The teacher's eyes popped out a bit. "Motojiro?" He asked again, just to make sure. Chuuya had this faint ringing that he'd heard the name before, but paying it no mind he just continued to fidget with his hair.
"Yes. And don't think about that. Do what you said you were gonna do." Kaji said, crossing his arms with a scowl on his face.
The teacher's mouth twitched at the corners. "Don't worry about that, Kaji. You guys still have detention. I don't care about last names, it's just a thing here, so I adapted. And I need some worksheets for the junior classes printed, so you guys could take care of that during break. Have a nice time." The teacher said before bowing low and walking out.
Chuuys stared at Kaji, not wanting to ask any questions that the other might not like. People perceive Chuuya as rude and unkind, but that's just because of his short temper.
"Ask." Kaji snapped at him.
"What about your last name? What's the deal with that?" Chuuya asked as he headed back inside to collect his belongings.
"W-You don't know?" Kaji asked, stopping mid-way.
Chuuya didn't notice and continued walking. "I've heard that name somewhere, but I can't seem to remember. Jog my memory a bit." He said, reaching his seat and picking up his stuff.
"The buildings." Kaji said flatly, and then it struck Chuuya.
The buildings. The land was owned by someone named Motojiro Flumad. A stupid name if you asked Chuuya, but they owned a shit-ton of land. And they were hella rich.
"Oh. Choose some good clothes next time." Chuuya said as he packed everything up and moved towards the door.
"What- That's you reaction? Buy good clothes?" Kaji said in obvious disbelief. "What did you want me to do? Beg at your feet for your forgiveness? I don't care, Lemon." Chuuay laughed as he walked out.
People thought money made everything shiny and nice. Now, he wasn't one of those people who said that they would choose happiness over money.
Hell no. You could either be sad and broke, or sad and have a roof over your head and good food. The latter seemed more like it. His father's money made him and his sister have a comfortable life. And even though that deprived them of family time, it made them more independent.
People are fake anyway, with money or without money. At least with money they act nice.
That seems worth it to Chuuya.
Chuuys was heading to his next class, which was library.
It was usually adored by students because the librarian was a sweet woman, who used to be able to give people just the right kind of books. It was actually fun reading if someone was putting in the effort.
Chuuya reached the door and walked in between two people, who seemed to be about to kiss.
"Oh fuck- My bad-" Chuuya said as he averted his eyes. One of them, Chuuya noticed, was the one the bandaged freak had been arguing with earlier. And the other one had beautiful long hair, braided down his back.
"Oh~ No worries." The one with the braids laughed, while the other one looked close to a murder. Although it wasn't clear if it was gonna be Chuuya, or himself.
"I'm Nikolai! Nice to meet you." he extended a hand and Chuuya took it. "Hey. Nice to meet you too, I'm Chuuya."
"Dos-kun~ Don't be rude. Say hi to our new friend." Nikolai urged the other one to speak, who continued to glare.
