The next couple weeks passed by in a blur. They had to get their permission slips, and pack according to the itinerary.
They'll be gone for a grand total of about 2 weeks, so 14 days.
They had a lot of places where they were scheduled to go, and Chuuya was actually really excited about it. He'd been in Japan for about 3 years now, and even though his Japanese was pretty good by this point, he did want to go and check out the other places in the world.
He missed travelling.
Back when he was with Arthur, he'd travelled a lot, since his job required him to go to a place almost every other day. Chuuya had no problem living like that even now, but Ane-san wasted him to get an education, hence why he'd come randomly in the 8th grade and didn't know what the fuck everyone else was studying.
He shook himself out of the thoughts, and looked around the room, making sure he had everything they needed. Their first stop was Turkey, and while Chuuya didn't really speak Turkish, he'd been there once before.
It was a pain. He didn't speak Turkish back then too and he'd gotten lost there. He had to very awkwardly borrow people's phones and type stuff in english and translate it to find out where he was, and then when Arthur had finally found him, they'd went to get him a phone with his number at the top.
Chuuya shuddered.
He was just zipping his suitcase up when the bell rang. Ane-san wasn't home yet, and there was only another person who had a reason to be here. Chuuya opened the door to be greeted by the sight of Dazai and someone else with reddish-brown hair. His parents?
"Hi Slug. I'm here to get my brushes and stuff." Dazai said brightly, pushing Chuuya outta the way and going inside the house like it was his own. Chuuya rolled his eyes and turned back to the person standing at the door.
"Hello. I'm Chuuya." He said, raising his hand for a handshake. He had manners, goddamit.
The dude with the brown coast smiled as he shook his hand. "Nice to meet you Chuuya. I'm Odasaku, but you can call me Oda if you wish." He said with that smile. He also added after a few secs. "I'm sorry about Dazai. He's a little-" He paused.
Chuuya snorted at that comment. "Yeah I know how he is. It's fine though I don't mind. He did practically live here for like 2 weeks. Uh, Can I get you anything? Water, tea, coffee?" He said, and Oda nodded at the water part. "Water is fine."
They talked for a while, mostly about random stuff, and finally Dazai returned. "I'm back Oda~ I'm sorry you had to deal with this annoying Chibi." He said, ruffling Chuuya's hair. "Hey what the hell?" Chuuya slapped his hand away and glared at him.
"So aggressive. You should really not waste all your energy on screaming at me or you might never grow." Dazai said, sitting down next to Oda.
"I think Europe has different laws than Japan. I'll murder you there." Chuuya said sweetly, while Dazai pretended to hide behind Odasaku.
"Ah Oda look he's threatening me! Attack!" He said, and Odasaku laughed, watching them with amusement in his eyes.
"Ah, we should leave now. Ango's probably wondering where we are." Oda said, getting up and Dazai pouted. "Fine. We'll go now Chibi. See ya tomorrow at the airport. Don't die while riding that bike~" Dazai said and walked away before Chuuya could tell him that he won't be riding a bike.
Ane-sna was going to leave him, since she didn't like the bike plus he had a lot of stuff. 2 weeks was a lotta time, so he had kept clothes and stuff to make sure his hair didn't sue him for mistreatment.
He sighed and got back to final packing. Chuuya frowned as he looked for his spare charger. Where the hell was it? He was sure he'd left it here-
He rummaged around his room for a while and lifted a jacket, and a weird bowtie rolled out of it.
Chuuya stared at it. "What the fuck is this ugly thing." Chuuya muttered to himself. He tossed it behind him and looked for the charger again.
Dazai hated packing. He didn't even own that many clothes, but he needed a lot of bandages, and they took a lot of space. "You're sure you'll be fine, right? We can talk to Mori beforehand if you want." Ango said again. They'd had this conversation plenty of times.
"I'll be fine. Even if Mori finds out I'm in Europe, I'll have the teachers with me. Plus, Fyodor's going to come too. If I survived 14 years with him I can survive one dinner." Dazai said again. He hated the way that man still had a hold on his life.
Unwanted memories and screams filled his head, and Dazai flinched. He'd gotten better at controlling everything in the day. It was the night that he disliked, because he had nothing to fulfill his time with. If he slept, he had no control over his body, and he hated that feeling.
He shook his head, and looked for another shirt so that he could finally close his suitcase. Ango sighed from where he was sitting. He and Oda had taken the day off to help Dazai with his packing and looking up the trip sites. They weren't this over-protective usually, but Mori had a way of making everyone be on edge.
"I'm still not sure how Fyodor and Nikolai managed to be here." Odasaku said, sipping on his coffee. Dazai shrugged. He'd hated when they'd first came, but it was a little reassuring that he'd not have to face Mori alone. Not that he would ever say that out loud to anyone.
"It's fine. Really guys. I appreciate all this, but you can relax. I'll be fine. And I'll call you. I already said that." Dazai laughed, zipping up the suitcase. It was currently 5pm, and usually at this time he'd be with his friends.
But right now, since they were all packing, he decided not to bother them anymore. It was a little boring but he'd make do with it.
Just as he was about to say something, his phone dinged.
Chibi<33: Yo assjack.
Chibi<33: You left your charger here.
Chibi<33: *sent an attackment*
Dazai looked at the photo of his charger and laughed.
Bastard: I FORGOT MY CHARGER?
Bastard: CHIBI YOU HAVE TO GET IT FOR ME.
Bastard: MY LIFE IS ON MY PHONEEEEEE
Chibi<33: Beg me a little more and I might.
Dazai snorted at that message, ignoring whichever leftover food was having a party in his stomach. It wasn't healthy for him to be feeling this way. God he better not get sick on the trip. Dazai had known he'd had chronic bad luck since- well forever. But if he got sick on the trip he would kill himself and have a long, nice talk with whoever the fuck was watvhing over him.
Bastard: Please, Chuuya. I'll return the favor if you get me the charger tomorrow. It might result in a lot of screaming, so beware.
Chibi<33: What the fuck
Bastard: You TOLD ME TO BEG IDK HOW
Chibi<33: HOW WAS THAT EVEN CLOSE TO BEGGING BRO
Bastard: I SAID I DONT KNOW
Chibi<33: Whatever. I'm gonna take a bath. See ya hopefully never
Bastard: Send pics.
Chibi<33: Kys
Bastard: Love yaaaaa
Dazai shut off his phone and looked at Ango and Oda, who were smiling at him. "What? Why are you guys looking at me like I have another eye?" Dazai asked.
"Nothing." Odasaku hummed, while Ango laughed and Dazai rolled his eyes.
Adults were always so weird.
