Matt sat on a comfy chair on Steve's studio, he was currently being part of a podcast episode, he loved doing this kind of things, they asked him serious things and he had the chance to get very real for a few minutes, which he loved.

"So, you have a new girlfriend" the hazel eyed man said making Matt smile.

"New" he laughed "fresh out the box" he added.

"I meant-" he started

"I know what you meant, in just messing with you" he scooted back on the chair, intertwining his fingers and placing his hands on his stomach as he layed back. "Wanna talk about my Ryan, let's talk about her it's my favorite topic" he said scrunching his nose with a smile.

"Okay then, she pretty?" Steve asked laughing as Matt chuckled quietly "superficial questions first man" the bearded man shrugged.

"She's absolute fire bro, like gorgeous, the most beautiful girl I've ever met easy" he said, his eyes sparkling at the thought of his girl.

"You've mention in a couple of tweets that she's neurodivergent, what-what how's she like?"

"She's one of a kind for sure" the green eyed boy nodded his head. "She has like a whole package deal, different levels to each disorder and she's part of the spectrum. But to me it's just something else to love about her" it was probably the first time he said the L word out loud while thinking about Ryan. He didn't even realize but he didn't mind if it slipped out, those were his true feelings.

"What does she struggle with the most?" Steve leaned back on his chair and pushed the mic a bit closer to himself

"She says it's dyslexia but I know it's anxiety" a memory of the first time he caught her having a panic attack hit him but he kept his neutral expression

"Does she know you know?" He raised his eyebrows at the younger man.

"She figured it out eventually" he smiled "the first time I caught her mid panic attack was probably the scariest thing I've ever lived" he confessed.

"What happened?"

"We were in the back room at one of my shows in LA, I went to the bathroom and when I came back she was, like, spiriling, she couldn't breath and she was crying. It was awful." His voice was coated with sadness as he said that "I don't know how I managed to help her but I did it" he bit his lip holding back the tears.

"Okay, let's change the subject. I don't wanna be the guy who made Matt Rife cry" Steve said and Matt smiled at him, mouthing a quick 'thank you' at the man. "How far into the spectrum is she?" He asked

"Aa..uuh..a-a little...bit"  he stammered making Steve laugh.

"What does that imply?" He smiled at Matt

"She's very eecky with some textures, it's very funny" he started listing "she can't take loud sounds and buzzing, she's uhm..hyper sensitive" he pointed at one of his ears as he said that "and she's eXtReMeLy  picky with food" he opened his eyes as wide as possible at the word 'extremely'

"Because of the texture thing?"

"No, it's a different thing, with-with vegetables. She says bitting down on things with a lot of fibers feels like bitting down on a chunk of human meat" he shook his head, confused at his own statement "I-I don't even...."

"How does she know how that feels?" Steve laughed.

"She doesn't, but she does" he shrugged shaking his head "I said she was one of a kind" he added, his lips forming a thin line as Steve blinked at him.

"What does she do for a living?"

"She's a fire fighter, the most badass to ever exist" he smirked at the thought of Ryan with half of her uniform on.
