Ryan had woken up a few minutes ago and was now re-reading the first one to the three book saga she had brought with her on the trip. She could never get tired of the way Katniss described Peeta's beauty but, at this point, she had already memorized it.

Reaching her right hand out she ran her fingers through Matt's hair, watching him shift uncomfortably in his seat as he tried to sleep.

"Aah...fuck me.." he breathed out in frustration, pressing his back to the airplane seat.

"Not here, people would judge.." she deadpaned, glancing at her boy. A smile appearing onto her face at the sound of his soft laugh.

"It's on me, why did I think that I could get any sleep? It's not like I have insomnia or anything" he said, shifting once again. "Anyway, how we doing?" He asked her, peaking into her book.

"Katniss found Peeta buried in the mud by the river" she told him, dividing her attention between the book and her boyfriend.

"Oh...for, like, what? The eleventh time this past few days?" He joked, stretching his back.

"Tenth. And it really helps to get the image of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss out of my head" she said while flipping the page.

"...cause Peeta is now....?" He squinted his eyes trying to remember.

"JJ Maybank" she turned to look at him.

"I..still think he's a blonde version of me but, whatever floats your boat" he said clicking his tongue and shaking his head.

A few seconds passed, seconds Matt was still trying to find the right position on his seat, when a man's head popped feom behind their seats.

"Dude, it's been like 15 minutes! How about you stop moving?!" He exclaimed, looking down at the brunette and alerting the people around them.

"I'm sorry man-" the blue eyed boy said.

Matt was the nicest person Ryan had ever met and she wasn't about to sit there and watch him get yelled at by some douchbag.

"I'm sirry" he mocked

《Wow, that's mature for a 40 year old》thr black haired girl though, shooting him a look.

"Zip it, both of you!" He turned to look at Ryan "I can't take anymore of your stupid chatting-"

"How bout you shut the fuck up, huh?!" The grey eyed girl yelled back, kneeling on her seat to face the man "it's a motherfucking plane, aight?! There's like a 100 people here and you're annoying all of them with your stupid argument right now. So shut your bitch ass, sit back down and continue enjoying The Minions Movie cause I didn't say shit about your stupid kid right here" she pointed at the girl sitting behind her "who's been kicking my seat for an hour now, and you shouldn't have said anything either cause he didn't do anything wrong" she said pointing her hand at Matt "now apologize and sit down!" Ryan finished and went back to her place.

As the man sat down rolling his eyes a few claps and cheers were heard in the plane. Matthew buried his face in Ryan's arm, blushing in slight embarrassment.

Despite looking like the kind of person who likes being the center of attention, Matt was rather introverted around strangers and cared a lot about what people thought. Ryan on the other hand was an extroverted introvert, quite feisty and couldn't give less fucks about the way she was perceived. In fact, there were many times where she had spoken her mind to random people she found annoying, all of those times Matthew felt the same way as now.

He would never be embarrassed about his girlfriend, he loved that side of her actually, it proved that the tinier something/someone was the more evil it stored. Ryan could be an absolute bitch to anyone else, shrug it off and treat him as if he were a puppy and he was a sucker for it.
