t was 3 p.m of Monday, Ryan had just gotten to the tattoo shop where she would start working today. She knocked on the door and a man, who had the same vibe as Colby, waved for her to come in from inside the place.

"Hi, how can I help you?" He asked me, his blue eyes staring into hers.

"I'm..Ryan, I sent you my resume" she said, not sure how to feel

"Oh, right. Impressive" he nodded, walking over to the counter "cool shirt" he told her, something about him was very intimidating for her.

"Thanks...it's not mine" she told him, trying to make conversation as she subtly analyzed him.

The man was probably in his thirty, tall and pale, rather skinny compared to Matt and his arms were full of tattoos. His hair was black, straight and flicked to the left. He was kinda cute but nothing compared to her boyfriend, his whole vibe really reminded her of Cole. But she didn't feel half as comfortable around him as she did with her Onceler.

"So you don't like Slipknot?" He asked, his tone dry.

The girl was used to Matt's humor, he was very dark and dirty minded but when talking to him he was a sweetheart, and not only with her. Colby was also very dry, the kind of person who just answers shortly even if you're asking him about his trip to Japan

*ahem* my crush be like Colby *cough cough*

But this man hsd no comparison point with her boys, he just didn't feel right. And Ryan was dtermined for him not to find out about this, he was her boss now after all.

"No...I-I do I just didn't have a shirt and I borrowed it from a friend" she told him, her face reading confusion.

"What's that tattoo peaking out of the shirt, on your neck?" He asked, taking the chance to skan her body shamelessly.

"It's a dragon, goes all the way from thr back of my shoulder across my collar bone" she explained, instintively touching said tattoo "I...didn't catch your name, I'm sorry" she played dumb

"I'm Andy, Birling" he said, leaning on the counter "you have any other tattoo I can't see right now?" He asked.

《I definitly don't like this guy》

She looked down at the tiny one on her leg, the one that rested right above her left knee.

"I-I have one on my ribs- two, one on each side" she said, touching her ribs "most painful experiences in my life, not gonna be happening again any time soon" she laughed.

"Hmm...you're cute, nice and funny...that'll do" he thought out loud "you're hired" he said and she exhaled deeply

"Thank you, now about my trip to New Zeland..." she started asking him

"Don't worry about that, I understand it was already schedualed with time" he said, probably the nicest thing he had told her til now. "Is it a vacation?" He asked curiosly

"...work.." she said shortly

《Why did I lie?》 She thought, furrowing her eyebrows for a fraction of a second

"You have another job?" He tilted his head while a small smile creeped onto his face

"My...boyfriend, he has to do something there with a couple of friends and wantrd me to go with him" she said, bringing Matt up gave her some sense of safety

"You have a boyfriend?" He raised his eyebrows at her

"Yup, Mattthew. He's my everything" she smiled, thinking of her boy.
