"Quit rubbing your eye!" Matt scolded Ryan, grabbing her chin and making her face him again.
"I can't take it out" she whined at her boy.
"I'm trying to help you take it out but I can't if you keep rubbing your eye and turning away from me" he argued.
They were currently at the airport, waiting for their flight. Ryan wanted to switch her contacts for her glasses but her left contact was stuck in her eye, she was getting nervous pretty quickly so she resorted to her boyfriend's patience.
"Don't look up, look at me and open your eye" the brunette said.
"It is open" she told him in a duh tone.
"With your fingers, silly" he smiled sarcastically
"Right" she let out quietly and pulled her eyelids open with her index and thumb.
A few seconds later her contact was out of her eye and inside its case.
"Thank you!" She breathed out.
"No worries, now put this in your bag immediately" he told her, his star sign getting the best of him.
It was very early in the morning and no one had enough energy to even speak for more than a minute and a half. The flight to Iowa wouldn't be that long but they would probably sleep through all of it, especially Ryan, who had ended up taking four more long rounds.
Her entire body hurt as if she had been to the gym for a whole week, 5 hours out of each day.

They got to the hotel very early in the morning so they just went straight to bed, specially since they would have to be back at the airport at 8:30 to pick up Matt's mom and his sisters.
Valerie had insisted on renting a car, but Matthew didn't want them to get to Iowa and have no one to be at the airport for them. So, after getting a few hours of sleep, or trying to in Matt's case, they headed back to the airport.
Seeing Ryan waiting for them at the gate Charlotte and Crystal squealed happily as they ran towards their brother and his girlfriend. The short haired girl got startled by their actions and backed up into Matt's side.
The brunette smiled to himself and put a hand to her back, holding her in place. He knew she was reacting out of reflexes but she would really be more than happy to hug his sisters.
"Hi guys!" The older girl said cheerfully, going in to hug her brother.
"Hey" he smiled at them
Crystal went in to hug Dylan, who played it cool, greeting hugs tended to be very short so she had gotten the hang of it.
"Ryan, honey.." Valerie let out, reaching her hands out to grab the girl's "how you been? How's your stomach? Look at you, you're glowing" she said in a motherly tone.
" 'glowing'? Is she pregnant?" Crystal asked her brother.
"Well,...she did take like five loads yesterday so" he shurgged proudly.
"Matthew Steven Rife!" Both his mom and his girlfriend yelled at the same time.
"Well, that's not creepy at all" Charlotte joked.
"No..I-I took the pill" Ryan said as tears started falling down her cheeks.
"Said the woman before randomly starting to cry?..." Crystal added, tilting her head at the grey eyed girl.
"What's wrong, baby?" Matt asked her, placing a hand on her back.
It wasn't like Ryan to cry randomly, maybe they were getting close to shark week. That would make sense, but other wise this was very weird of her.
