"ASHES ARE IMMORTAL."
~*~*~
The sun had gone to rest in its abode, and in the late hours of night she worked until the glare of the moon from her floor to ceiling window made her realise the office was over a few hours back and it was time for her to leave as well. Although she wasn't sure if she wanted to go back in Oberoi Mahal.
Deciding leaving to some other place, which might be her house that she had been living in before she bought the mansion, would be the best option she sent a word to Naina, to like a professional personal assistant was working until her boss didn't her seat, about her change in locations.
Naina was told to inform her brothers of the same and anyone else who asks about her whereabouts that she was out for a business meeting that required her immediate attention. A very believable excuse for what she was about to do. She had even had it put in her daily calendar by Naina and by the next hour, anyone who would have the resources to know her whereabouts would know only one thing--that she was out for a meeting, rather than making and executing plans including the destruction of a warehouse.
That's what she plans to do. Attack.
Tushar wasn't so good in hiding his whereabouts. She had already wounded him enough to trace back any traces of his blood that fell on the grounds staining them. It was easy to trace them back to a road leading to a warehouse behind the Oberoi Mahal. How convenient of them to buy a property right behind her's to spy. Although, it wouldn't be of much use after she does what she plans to do.
Filing all the papers back at their respective places, arranging the few books she borrowed from the library in her room, and after cleaning her neatly set table, she set out of the office carefully avoiding a suspicious Naina. She wouldn't want Naina to know of the work she was about to do. Since particularly nothing that she was going to do was legal. And her personal assistant will fare better without knowing so.
On her way to her house, she decided sharing her plans with one individual would be rather interesting. She picked up her phone, dialing the number of the man she is supposedly irritated at, with a plan to make him feel irritated at her.
"Oh, so you remember me?" A tauntingly rough voice greeted her as her companion--if you can call an arrogant human who not only does feel obliges to cross her over every decision but also infuriate her to the core that--picked up the call.
"You're so predictable X." Her voice turned from bored to hissing as she called him by the name--if you'll call a letter as name--he gave her. She despises how he knows everything about her but refuses to give her any hope of knowing about him.
"So are you. What treacherous and delinquent plan is brewing in your brain Anni?" She chuckled.
"Treacherous? My, my X. You think so low of me." Even though the words were nothing but a teasing expression, her voice remained like ice in Antarctica, or maybe even colder.
"Did you, by any chance, forget the last mission we went on, Your Highness?" X hissed out.
The last mission was scary. Not to her. She loves things that are scary, it gives her excite. She feels more energetic, high on adrenalin, more powerful of the fact that everyone except her is fearful of what was happening while she was no more than satisfied with the results.
"I believe the title you just used doesn't belong to me. Although flattering me with it won't get you out of what I'm planning for us."
"Pray tell what. Are. You. Planning?"
