Chapter Thirteen You're the One
Okay, this chapter will be written in AUSTIN's POV and will most likely give away what I plan to happen in the next couple of chapters. I hope you guys enjoy.
During Warped Tour, the guys have an off day and decide to have a guys night.
*Austin's POV*
"Are you sure you'll be alright here by yourself? It'll just be you and the driver," I ask, watching Devon's facial features. If she lied I'd know.
"I'm gonna be fine, Aus," she says, her nose scrunching up as she lets out a slight laugh, "I'm probably just gonna watch NetFlix and fall asleep on the couch in the lounge. It's four thirty, so I only have to kill maybe five hours, that's five episodes of Criminal Minds, easy."
I shook my head at her, sometimes it seems like she likes that show more than she likes me. "Okay, but if you need me, just let me know. I'm only a phone call away."
"I'm not going to need you, Aus. I can be content by myself."
"Austin, come on. Stop with the dramatics," Tino says, peeking his head in the door of the bus.
"Coming," I call, turning back to Devon, "I'll see you when we get back, love you, Dev," I mutter, kissing her forehead and turning to leave the bus.
I walk out and see Tino grin at me, "she's not following you, right?" I shook my head, she was probably already curled up under on of the blankets in the back lounge, watching Criminal Minds, or at least on NetFlix.
"I can't help but feel like this is a mistake. I don't know if she's ready for this, Tino," I mutter, following Tino as we walk to the gates, to the awaiting taxi.
"Don't worry. I talked to her about it when her and I celebrated our seven year anniversary," he says, turning to me, letting me slide in the taxi first. "This is going to work. We'll do what we need, then meet up with the rest of the guys."
I just nodded and told the driver where to go.

We pulled up to JR Jewelers, and I paid the taxi driver as we got out. I was worried, without a doubt. If Devon said no, I'd be mortified. I don't know if I'd be able to just forget about it. Tino said not to worry, and Tino always knew what to do about Devon if I was unsure.
"Welcome to JR, how can I help you?" a worked asked as soon as Tino and I walked into the store.
"My man here is looking for an engagement ring," Tino answers, not even giving me the chance to.
"Well, do you know what the bride-to-be likes?"
"First off, is there someplace we can talk that's not in the main lobby?" Tino starts, "you wouldn't know the music, but we're in a band, and if a fan walks by and sees us in the window, this whole plan in out of the window."
"Alright, follow me and we can talk in one of our offices," she says, turning and leading us towards the back of the store. "Also, my name is Angela, I'll most likely be helping you the entire day, or until you are absolutely sure on your choice of ring." We sit in the chairs across from Angela, and she looks as us.
"I'm Tino, Devon's best friend," Tino starts, obviously excited to be here, excited to see his best friend move on with her life story.
"I'm Austin, obviously, Devon's boyfriend."
"Nice to meet you. Now, is there something that you know Devon likes? Or a style you would like to look at?"
"Well," I start, "I know she doesn't like anything extremely over the top."
