Chapter Nine Cardboard Boxes
As said in the authors note on the chapter before this, there will be a lot of flashbacks. In fact, most likely over half of this chapter will be flashbacks. So, be prepared. Some will be sad, some will be happy. I like writing flashbacks and oops. This is also going to be a longer chapter seeing as how each flashback will be like a page and a half.
Also, before you read if you wouldn't mind in the comments tell me if you'd want an All Time Low story or another Of Mice and Men story. Thanks.
The next day, Austin and Devon are at Devon's apartment to sort out everything.
"I don't have any boxes, this isn't going anywhere, Aus," I muttered, throwing myself onto my bed and shoving my face into the pillow.
"You'll have boxes in about five minutes, so start figuring out what we're going to do with the furniture," he said, sitting next to me, rubbing his hand up the length of my spine.
"Craigslist, duh," I said, my words being muffled by the fabric. "And are boxes just going to just show up randomly at the door to my apartment?" I ask, immediately hearing the door to the apartment open.
"Dev, Austin," I heard a familiar gingered voice call out.
"Alan, we're in the bedroom," Austin called, standing up from the bed and walking to the doorway.
I soon saw Alan's figure appear in the doorway next to Austin. I smiled before he ran and hugged me, "I knew you'd say yes to Austin, you couldn't resist his sexy body," he said before getting closer to my ear and whispering, "it's alright, I know you just want to live closer to me," he said, pulling away and smiling.
I rolled my eyes and groaned and the amount of cardboard that Alan had brought into the apartment. "This is going to take forever," I whine, dragging out my words and throwing myself on the bed and shoving my pillow over my head.
"It's going to take a while, but Tino's coming over around lunch to help," Alan said, a grin on his face as he started putting boxes together.
"Tino better be bringing some food too," I mutter, sitting up and pulling out my laptop. "Did you take pictures of the furniture, Aus?" I ask, tilting my head to the side. He nodded at me and I grabbed his phone, plugging it into my laptop.
I saved the pictures from his phone before opening Craigslist and starting to put the couch, kitchen table, kitchen chairs, and random other furniture on there. Austin and I had agreed that everything other than what came with the apartment and my TV's would go on Craigslist in hopes that we wouldn't have to haul it anywhere.
"What are we doing with your dishes and stuff, Devon?" Alan called from the kitchen.
"I need to keep a few things that Austin doesn't have, but other than that and my coffee mugs everything's probably getting given to someone or something like that," I return, turning towards Austin who just nods.
"You have no clue what you're doing, Dev, do you?" he asks, I just shake my head at him. I moved into this apartment after leaving Stephan's and having Tino find me something that I would be good with. I didn't know what to do with any of the furniture or the things I didn't need.
"But," I mutter, standing up and walking towards him, "I have you to help me so everything is going to work out," I say, kissing him and smiling.
"You work on the clothes, I'll go help Alan with the kitchen, alright?" he asks, evoking a nod from me before walking out of the apartment.
~Flashback~
"Aaron, are you sure than Jordan won't care?" I ask, referring to the tour manager's history of not liking random visits from the girlfriends.
