CHAPTER SEVEN

After the fight between Masuragi and Rajin, Katsujima couldn't help but stare at the spot they clashed in. Katsujima clicks her tongue, "She held back." She says lowly. Minoru furrows his eyebrows, "Huh?" Katsujima grits her teeth, "She held back. She could've easily took down Rajin in one hit if she wanted to, she held back." She points out, "Rajin is easily high chunnin in speed and strength, not including his Kin and Nin. To put it bluntly, he's the weakest in our team, but he would still be able to hold his own against an opponent of low jonin status," Minoru listens intensely,

"This girl, she has weights on, it's obvious by how she dresses, she dresses to cover them. Her moves, while they were fast, they were hesitant, almost sloppy looking. Like she's not used to moving so slow, like she's used to fighting people much faster than Rajin," Katsujima explains. Minoru nodded, "So, she held back, after saying to go all out... Tsk... leaf scum." He mutters. Katsujima hums, "If she holds out against me, I will kill her..." She says with an almost crazed look in her eye. Minoru nods slowly before focusing on the next fight,

"Wait wait, it's an earth jutsu?!" Masuragi asks in disbelief. Rajin grinned, "Yea! It's easy as hell, I can teach you!" He laughs out. Masuragi beams, "Most def!" She exclaims. The laughter from the two died down as Rajin looked out the window, "I know you held back in our fight." He suddenly says making all the color drain out of your face, "Why, is my question?" Rajin asks seriously.

Masuragi sighs, "We were the first match of the prelims. Think about it, your sister already wants to fight me and she's hella strong, her aura gives it off. Not only that, showing all of your cards at one time at the beginning isn't good. I would love to spar with you before we leave this place though. A REAL spar." She says. Rajin smirks, "You're right, squirt. And yeah, I'd love to spar before we leave." He says as the door opened to reveal Fox and Gaara right along with Rajin's team.

Fox hums, "Well, hello Masu-San." He greets sweetly. Masuragi grins, "Hello, Fox-San." She greets back. Katsujima and Minoru stared Masuragi down, "Kazekage-sama." She greets, getting down on one knee and bowing. Gaara smiles, "No need to be so formal, Masuragi-San. Just call me Gaara." He says softly. Masuragi looks up, "Yes sir." She quickly stood up.

Rajin snickers, "Stop being so formal with my Tou-chan, Masu." He teases. Masuragi bops Rajin on his head making the blonde hair boy laugh harder. Masuragi sighs, "I have to get going anyways. I was going to stay for the rest of the prelims, but I might just sleep in and get my energy." She says to Rajin. Rajin smirks, "Ok, squirt. Whatever you say." Masuragi lets out a soft laugh and leaves out, not before bowing again to the family.

Minoru's eyes hardened, "So, you're buddy buddy with the tree hugger now?" He asks harshly. Rajin shrugs, "Homie's cool. She literally taught me the basics of lighting armor and showed me the trick to shortening my hand signs!" He says, "I don't know, guys. She kinda cool." Rajin mutters.

Gaara smiles slightly, "She has quite a character. After all, she is Hinata-san's child. I expected nothing less." He says. Fox smiles behind his mask, "Hinata-chan did always have quite the personality, especially when she grew out of her shy, stalker phase." He giggles out, "And if Masu is anything like her mother, she's going to be a force to be reckoned with." Gaara continued, confusing the children in the room as they wondered who this Hinata character was.
