Jiriya's Last Student (Naruto Fanfic)

CHAPTER TEN

Naruto hums, "Jiriya told me that one day would come where I'd meet his last student, once I saw your sage mode, I knew it was you he was talking about. Who would've thought it be the only genin sent from the Leaf." He says. Masuragi grins, "I'd like to say I'm a little more skilled than my peers." She says, "I'm probably the only one that would survive to be honest. With this village's hate for the Leaf, they would kill my peers, no hesitation." Masuragi says a little more seriously. Naruto nods slowly, "I feel it in your aura, your chakra. To go toe to toe with Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke is a feat." Masuragi hid her shock of Naruto revealing that Kakashi was his old sensei too and just nods, "I didn't use my full strength. I didn't want to play all my cards in front of Katsu-Chan and Minoru. I don't know who I'll fight and they're both really strong. And the-the bloodlust and power that poured from Katsu-Chan is scary. Terrifying even." Masuragi mutters, not knowing Naruto is Katsujima's father.

Naruto nods, "Katsu is a ...special case. She was born to two jinchuriki. She's a little unstable, but she's a sweet girl. She is my daughter after all." Masuragi's eyes went wide again, "W-Wait, you're her father?! That means... Rajin is her brother, and Kazekage-sama is...?" Naruto grins, "Is my husband." He giggles out.

Masuragi bites her lip, "Why are you telling me this? What if I go back and tell Konoha?" She asks. Naruto hums, "You won't. I'm pretty sure Hinata-chan told you about me from the way you reacted, so you know my past with Konoha and your senseis..." Masuragi looks down,

"All in all... you're lucky to have a sensei like Sasuke. He was my best friend at one point. He's loyal, to the bitter end. And, Hinata... your mother was my first love, the first person that ever gave a damn about me and believed in me, even when I got banished. I'm glad she raised such a special daughter. And, I'll be proud of the Hokage you become. Hopefully, we'll be allies when that happens."

And just like that, Naruto disappeared with the seal barrier slowly falling,

"And I'll be proud of the Hokage you become."

Masuragi clutches her fist and grins, "Great, I got another person I can't let down. My parents, Kashi-sensei, Jiriya-jiji and now Naruto-san?" She mumbles before furrowing her eyebrows in determination. She disables her resistance seals, crouches down and darts off, starting her 50 laps around the village.

Finals (3 Weeks Later)...

"Today is the chunnin exam finals!" Ay the Unruly, the Yondaime Raikage, yells loudly, making the entire stadium cheer. He nods, "Today, six individuals go up against each other for the title of chunnin!"

Masuragi looks at Katsujima, "Who do you think we're fighting, Katsu-chan?" Katsujima looks over at Masuragi and shrugs. Over the past weeks, Katsujima and Masuragi got a little acquainted. To the point where Katsujima doesn't look at Masuragi like a punching bag anymore, "I hope I'm fighting you, Katsu. You're strong, very strong... I just know we'll put up an amazing fight. And, win chunnin exams..." Masuragi mutters.

Katsujima hums, "If I fight you, you better not hold back... or I'll kill you." She says lowly. Masuragi smirks, "I'd never, I cherish my life." She says, feeling her heart swell when she sees Katsujima's lip twitch up a bit.

After the first two fights, the other fighters were on the edge of their seat looking at the names spin. But, Masuragi knew what time it was, the popular vote...

When people voted, that is the REAL finals of the chunnin exams...

Masuragi felt her breath hitched while Katsujima let a sadistic grin form on her face.
