Part 7: Visit

Miguel Diaz gazed around the transformed Cobra Kai dojo, a mix of nostalgia and curiosity in his eyes

Things have certainly changed here, Miguel thought.

"What brings you back to our dojo?" Kenny asked, stepping forward with an intense glare.

Miguel turned back as he saw Cobra Kai students, who were looking at him serious expression on their face.

"You've got some nerve showing your face here, Diaz,'' Kyle said, standing alongside Kenny, his expression equally menacing.

"I was just passing by, I'm not here to start a fight,'' Miguel said, trying to diffuse the situation.

"You have no right to be here, Miguel. You don't belong here," Kenny pushed him aggressively as Miguel looked shocked at them.

In the midst of the confrontation, Miguel defends himself, utilizing his skills as a former all valley champion, but finds himself outnumbered and overwhelmed by the group.

"What's happening here?" Their sensei, Terry asked, his presence commanding attention.

Everyone turned around shocked to see Terry behind them. Terry noticed the way Kyle had Miguel pinned to the wall as he walked towards them.

''Let him go,'' Terry said to Kyle, as he looked at him confused.

''But sensei he--''

''That wasn't a request,'' Terry said, looking right into his soul as Kyle let go of Miguel.

''Sensei, he's the one who appeared in our dojo,'' Kenny said as he glared at Miguel.

''So? You all decided to fight him just like that and he still defeated almost all of you,'' Terry said as others looked at each other not believing it.

Miguel looked at Terry as he sighed in relief that he didn't have to fight them anymore. Terry was still looking at Miguel. Miguel noticed the way there was tension between them but he was still grateful for what Terry did.

''What are you staring at? Go home, now,'' Terry warned all of them as they sighed and started walking out of the dojo leaving only two of them alone.

Terry's gaze returned to Miguel as he smiled and walked closer to him. Miguel was confused by his actions as he took few steps backwards.

''I-I was just passing by,'' Miguel said, fearing Terry a little.

''I know,'' Terry replied, his body language was showing that he was calm.

''Why did you protect me?'' Miguel asked, still confused.

''Why would I let them hurt you?'' Terry asked, his question caughting Miguel off guard.

''I don't know,'' Miguel replied honestly.

''Miguel, I'm not that heartless as others told you,'' Terry said stepping a little forward to him.

Miguel looked at him, unsure if he's telling the truth.

''That's not what Mr. Larusso said,'' Miguel said causing Terry to laugh a litte.

''Ah, Larusso. He's quite interesting 'sensei'. He's talking nonsense because if I was really heartless, I would hurt you the second I saw you,'' Terry said, scaring Miguel a little.

''But, did I?'' He added, causing Miguel to start thinking.

''You got your answer. Now go home and get some rest,'' Terry said smiling as he looked at him for the last time.
