From Aria: LOL your face!
To Aria: I'm being serious!
From Aria: Listen to your heart!

"Ugh!" I groan, "Dammit, how long have I been sitting here?"
Don't worry, I didn't actually need the loo!

9:33

Ok cool, 3 minutes.

I walk back into class and slide into my seat. I look at Aria and she laughs.

I look at my phone.

From Aria: Have diarrhoea Han?
To Aria: Stop!

I grunt silently in annoyance.

When I get home from school, Aria is waiting for me in my room.

"So!" She says excitedly, "I set you up on a date with sketchy. The new boy."

"Aria no! Why?!" I half yell.

"Because you're in looove!"

"No!" I scream, "I'm not!!!"

"Sorry, Han. I was just trying to help," Aria says apologetically.
I sigh.

"When is it?" I ask.

"This Saturday," she replies.

"Okay, Ar. I'll go," I give in.

"Yay! Thanks Han!"

"Oh yeah! Where exactly is it?" I inquire.

"Oh, just at the Brew," she replies.

"Okay."

"Hey," I say.

"Hanna?" He says.

"Yeah."

"Hi," he smiles.

"Um..Aria didn't tell me your name," I say awkwardly, "She just called you the new boy."

"It's Caleb," he replies laughing.

He seems so friendly! I wonder if he likes me....

That's absurd! I think.

"Wanna get a coffee?" I ask.

"Sure."

"I'm so sorry, Caleb, but i have to go," I say quietly, "I have to meet Spencer at 11."

"Sure, it was nice hanging out with you! You're the friendliest popular girl I know!" he smiles.

"Thank Aria for the date! Coffee. Thing..." I laugh at the end as I get up from my seat.

Before I can walk away, Caleb grabs my arm, "Hey," he says, "Question?"

"Sure," I reply.

"Umm..." He hesitates before saying, "Can I have your number?..." He looks at the floor.

"Course!" I smile.

Hanna what the heck are you doing?!!

Too late now. Who knows, he might actually text!

I give him my number, smile and then head off to Spencer's.

I knock on the door of Spencer's house.

"Coming!!!" I hear her yell.

"Hey Spence!" I grin and walk in.

"Sooo?" She raises her eyebrows and waits.

"So what?" I ask.

"Sketchy?"

"Oh, Caleb!" I reply, starting to feel nervous.

"Aaaaand?"

"Look Spence I'd prefer if we didn't talk about this," I say and pull my phone out to text Caleb.

I laugh as I see he beat me to it.

From Caleb: Hey Han!
To Caleb: Hey Caleb!
From Caleb: Thanks for today. I was
thinking we could go out
again sometime?
To Caleb: Sure, when?
From Caleb: Maybe next Saturday???
To Caleb: Cool, what time?
From Caleb: 11?
To Caleb: Sounds great! See ya! X

"Earth to Hanna!!" Spencer waves her hands in front of my face.

"Oh, hey Spence," I say, putting my phone back into my pocket.

"I know you like him, Han," she tells me.

I simply just sigh.

She must be reading my mind because she yells, "Forget about Sean!! He's a backstabbing idiot!"

I laugh. "Him and that Nina freak look pretty serious," I admit.

My ex and my enemy's best friend. What a match! I think sarcastically.
