-Hanna-
Oh my gosh....
I have no clue what the heck just happened but....i guess we're kind of...dating???
Well, technically: Yeah.
Absolutely.
Yep.
Yes.
For sure.
Caleb and I are dating.
This is crazy.
Like really.
I can't even process my thoughts right now. It's like when you put ice in a blender: it's smaller but there's still chunks of it that won't blend. That's how I feel right now.
"We have to go back to school tomorrow, Han," he sighs, "Do you want to tell everybody?"
"No," I reply, "But at least tell the girls."
He agrees.
--------------------------------------------
We get to school the next day and I ask, "How are we gonna do this?"
"Umm..."
I stare at him. "Oh dear,"
"Oh dear," he replies.
"I'll tell the girls at lunch," I say, "But I think we should get to class."
"Nah, ten minutes," he replies.
He still has his wheelchair, so I push him through the hallways to his first class.
As I am walking back, I notice two massive pieces of paper pinned to the wall.
One reads: GET WELL SOON CALEB!
The other reading: COME BACK HANNA!
I laugh and take some pictures. I send them to Caleb, who just might get in trouble for texting in class.
-------------------------------------------
Lunchtime.
Great.
I have to tell the girls.
After countless hugs and tears, we sit at our usual table and I munch on my food, getting the words clear in my head.
"HANNA!" they say for about the third time.
"What?" I say, annoyed.
"Okay Hanna, what are you hiding?" Emily questions irritably.
The others are all staring at me.
"We're dating!" I blurt out.
I don't need to say any more: they all know who I'm talking about.
Aria was the first to speak.
"Well, it's about time!" she says, "Been waiting for this for like...practically forever!"
"Yeah, I guess we kinda all saw it coming eventually," Spencer admitted.
Emily just looks stunned, "Well, congratulations, Han!"
---------------------------------------------
"Okay, I'M driving you home today," I say to Caleb sternly.
"Okay, Han," he says.
"Did you see my pictures?" I ask.
"Yeah!" he laughs, "Did anyone actually notice that we were back?"
"Don't even know," I reply, "Or care for that matter. Only the girls."
"Speaking of, how did it go?" he asks.
"Well...interesting," I reply frowning.
"Good interesting or bad interesting?"
"Well, good...i guess," I try to say.
"Oh?"
"Well, for starters, they weren't all that surprised to be honest," I tell him.
He just laughs, "Well, what can I say? I'm not surprised?"
We both laugh and I get out of the car. I go round the back to get his wheelchair but it was nowhere to be seen.
"Caleb!" I call.
"Yeah?"
"Did you leave your wheelchair anywhere?" I ask.
"Crap!" He shouts.
I come round the front to his door and laugh.
"Well then," I grin cheekily, "I guess I have no choice. Just slide your legs out a little."
He does as I say and I gently lift them up and put my arm under his thighs and around his back.
I lift him up and carry him to his front door, where his crutches are laying.
"I don't need those," he grins and lifts an arm to open the door.
I step inside and sit him down on the couch.
"Wow, your heavy," I say.
He laughs.
A beautiful woman comes in as we laugh. I assume it must be his...sister???....no she looks to old for a sister.
Caleb turns around and his eyes widen.
"Mom?"
Dun dun duuuuun! This is gonna be interesting! Once again I have no idea what to say in this apart from: Peace out readers!! :)
