Chapter 32

Hyunjin's pov
"it is sunday, are you going to stay home?" my mom asked looking at me through her magazine.
I was lazily laying on the couch watching some animal documentary.
"I don't feel like going out" I replied making her frown.
"you spend all day out yesterday and now you want to just lay here doing nothing" she said raising her eyebrow.
"well you said it I used all my energy yesterday I want to just rest" I answered.
"where did you even do? Did you met with felix perhaps or jisung?" she asked looking interested.
"nope, I walked around the town,  I visited dad and some old library..." I as erred making her hum.
"are you sure you are okay..."
"mom I know you are worried about me by I swear I am fine" I cut her off.

"I don't want you to close upon yourself again honey" she said making me look down...i feel guilty that my parents still think that I will go back to my I will call depression phase.
I stood up from the couch heading toward her.
"mom, I promise you that I won't...that hyunjin is gone...i am a totally new person now...a person who is willing to fight...i won't lie Yeri's death still hunt me and will always do but I learned to accept the truth...and as long as that man got what he deserved I know that she is resting peacefully on her grave there is no need for me to hold on the past" I explained crunching in front of her.
"it is not just yeri's death I remember last..."
"mom please stop" I cut her off taking a deep breath" you don't trust me or what?" I added.
"I do...i am just worried about my only son's well being" she replied caressing my cheek.
"and your son tells you that he is okay" I said smiling at her.
Silence filled the place before she nodded" I will take your word for that...but remember if you need anything your dad and I will always be by your side"she said making me hum.

"now excuse me since you didn't let me rest in peace here I am going to my room to do so" I said getting up" you know what I need some snacks too" I added making her chuckle.
"enjoy" she said shaking her head.
I walked toward the kitchen to prepare some popcorn, I also grabbed some brownies ships and juice...i proudly looked at the huge plate of food on the counter.
"are those snacks for you or  an army?" my mom asked entering the kitchen.
"I am still growing I need food" I said leaving toward my room.
I immediately jumped on the bed taking my PC out.
"best day ever here I come" I whispered playing sole random videos until I have decided to watch a movie...twilight is it...i have no idea how many times I watched but I can't get enough of it...i love vampires.

(time skip)

I groaned stretching my arms before I stood up from my bed...damn, It already started to get dark outside.
I grabbed the plate heading toward the kitchen...
"mom" I said looking around, there is no sign of anyone...my dad must be in his restaurant did she go to him?
I shrugged before I walked toward the living room.
I stood in the middle of the room scanning it silently...something feels wrong.
A loud noise came from the garden making me run outside...what the hell was it?
"The garage" I whispered heading toward it...i froze when I entered.

"who are you?" I asked the person who was standing in the middle of the room they were wearing a black hoodie and a black mask so it was impossible to see their faces." I asked you a damn question" I yelled taking a step forward.
The only answer I got was a chuckle...it sounded familiar...it can't be...
"you..." I was cut mid-sentence when I felt something hit my head from behind making me fall on the ground.
"what the hell?" I said looking back but nowhere was there...are you hiding me right now?
"I said..."
I stopped when I looked back to we're the shadow was standing but nowhere was there...the window was opened too...they escaped...who the hell were they? And who hit me?

I got up grabbing my head to check if there is any blood but thankfully it wasn't.
"hyunjin" I heard a voice call for me from outside...it is Felix's.
I shook my head trying to fix my vision before I stepped outside.
"hey" he said looking at me through the fence.
"hey" I replied looking around.
"are you okay?" he asked making me glance at him.
" I am fine...did you need something?" I asked making his eyes widen.
"I...i thought we could talk..."
" maybe later lix, I have something to do now" I cut him off before I left.
