XIII.

It was Friday, when Felix had his working days, in which he sat down with Lee Minho and began to tutor him in math.
They started with some basic equations, but Felix quickly realized that Minho was struggling more than he had thought.

"Okay, let's try something a little more challenging," Felix said. "What's the square root of 169?"

Minho looked at him blankly. "Uh, I don't know. Is it 12?"

"No, it's 13," Felix said. "You were close though. Let's try another one. What's the value of x in the equation 3x + 4 = 19?"

The older thought for a moment. "Uh, 6?"

"No, it's 5. You need to subtract 4 from both sides first, then divide by 3," Felix said. "You're getting there though, keep trying."

"I don't know if I can do this. Math is so hard," Minho said and mentally slapped himself, since he screwed up even that easy equation.

"Don't worry, we'll get through this together," Felix said. "Let's try one more. What's the derivative of x^2 with respect to x?"

The latter looked at him like he was speaking another language. "Uh, I don't even know what that means."

"It's okay, it's a little more advanced. We'll get to it eventually," Felix said. "For now, let's stick to the basics."

The tutor could see that Lee Minho was struggling, but he was determined to help him improve. However, after some time, Felix began to lose his patience.
Lee Minho wasn't paying attention anymore, and Felix could tell that he had given up.

"Felix, I don't think I can do this. It's just too hard," Minho said, sounding defeated.

"Hyung, are you even listening to me?" Felix asked, frustrated.

Minho looked up at him, startled. "Uh, yeah, sorry. I just don't think I can do this."

Felix took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He knew that getting angry wouldn't help anything. "It's okay, Hyung. We can take a break if you need to. But I want you to know that I believe in you. You can do this."

Minho looked at him skeptically, but Felix could see a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
They took a short break, and then Felix tried a different approach.
He used real-life examples and visual aids to help the older understand the concepts better.
Slowly but surely, Minho started to get the hang of it.

In the end, Felix was glad that he didn't give up on the other.
It wasn't easy, but it was worth it to see the smile on Minho's face when he finally understood a difficult equation.

In the middle of tutoring, Jisung called him to hang out with him, Jeongin, and Seungmin.
Felix wanted to go,  he but he knew that he couldn't leave Minho in the middle of a tutoring session.

He explained the situation to Jisung, and to his surprise, Jisung suggested that they can hang out later after the session ends.

But before Felix could respond, Minho spoke up. "Actually, I have an idea," he said. "Why don't Jisung and the others come over here? That way, you can keep tutoring me, and we can still hang out."

Felix was a little hesitant at first. He wasn't sure if Minho would be comfortable with those energetic strangers in the house, while he was trying to learn.

But the latter assured him that he was okay with it, and that he would appreciate the company.

So, Jisung, Jeongin, and Seungmin came over to Felix's place, and Felix introduced them to Minho.
At first, he was a little shy, but Jisung and the others were friendly and welcoming, and they quickly put him at ease.

As Felix continued to tutor Minho, the the others hung out in the living room.
They played video games, watched TV, and chatted with each other.
Every once in a while, they would peek into the study to see how Minho was doing, and they would offer words of encouragement.

In the end, Minho was able to solve some of the equations on his own, and he even thanked Felix for his help.
Jisung and the others were impressed, and they congratulated him on his progress.

It turned out to be a fun and productive afternoon, and Felix was glad that his friends were able to help out.

Jisung and Minho hit it off almost immediately. They found that they had a lot in common, and they quickly fell into an easy conversation.
They talked about their favorite music, movies, and TV shows, and they even discovered that they both loved to play basketball.

As they chatted, Felix couldn't help but smile.
He was glad that his friends were getting along so well, and he was impressed by how comfortable they seemed around each other.

He knew that Jisung and Minho were both a little shy around new people, so he was happy to see that they had found common ground.

After a while, his best friend suggested that they play some basketball together.
Minho was a little hesitant at first - he wasn't very confident in his skills - but Jisung was persistent, and he eventually convinced Minho to give it a try.

They went outside to the nearest court and started shooting hoops, Felix watched from the window.
He could see that Jisung was giving Minho some pointers, and that Minho was starting to relax and have fun.

Before long, they were both laughing and joking around, and Felix felt a warm glow of happiness in his chest.

As the sun began to set, Jisung and the others said their goodbyes and headed home.
Felix walked them to the door, and he thanked them for coming over.

Jisung gave him a bear hug, and Jeongin and Seungmin waved goodbye.

As Felix closed the door, he turned to Minho and asked him how he was feeling.
Minho smiled and said that he had a great time, thanked Felix for inviting his friends over, and he said that he was looking forward to spending more time with them in the future.

The freckled male felt a surge of pride and affection for his friend.
He knew that Minho had been feeling lonely and exhausted lately, and he was glad that he had been able to help.

As they headed back to the study to finish the tutoring session, Felix felt grateful for the bond of friendship that had formed between them.
