As they walked home through the streets of Seoul, Hyunjin and Felix basked in the warm summer night breeze. The air was thick with the scent of street food and the sounds of people laughing and chatting as they enjoyed the city's endless offerings.

The neon lights from storefronts and signs flickered above them, casting an otherworldly glow on the streets below. Hyunjin and Felix walked close to each other, their steps in sync as they moved through the crowds.

As they turned onto their street, the sound of the city faded away, replaced by the calming hum of crickets and rustling leaves. A light breeze picked up, flickering through the trees and sending a shiver down the couple's spines.

They didn't mind though, relishing the cool touch of the breeze on their skin. It felt like a gentle caress, slowly soothing their bodies after a long day in the city's heat and bustling energy.

The two of them walked the rest of the way in relaxed silence, savoring the peacefulness of the summer night. They were content in each other's company, enjoying the blissful quiet and the chance to simply exist in the moment.

But after that, Hyunjin and Felix walked up to Hyunjin's apartment building, giggling over the inside jokes from the movie they had just seen with their friends. It had been a fun night out, and they were both looking forward to spending time together in the comfort of Hyunjin's cosy apartment.

As they walked through the hallway to Hyunjin's door, they noticed two envelopes lying on the ground in front of the door. They both looked at each other, wondering who could have left them there.

Felix bent down to pick up the envelopes, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw that they were both black, sealed with a dark wax. "Hyunjin," he said in a hushed tone, "these don't look good."

Hyunjin's eyes widened, and he quickly took the other envelope from Felix's hands. They looked at each other, both feeling uneasy.

Without a word, they went inside the apartment and sat down on the couch, still clutching the letters. They shared a look, and then in unison, they carefully held their envelopes.

As they read the start of the letters, their expressions changed from fear to confusion. They looked at each other again, and Felix let out a nervous laugh. Hyunjin joined in, and they decided to read it later, and then they've spent the rest of the night speculating about who could have sent the letters, and what they could possibly mean.

Before they went to bed, they put the letters away in a drawer, and promised to talk about them more in the morning. As Felix drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but wonder what the next morning would bring, and whether there would be more mysterious letters to come.

Hyunjin and Felix lay in bed together, looking up at the ceiling. The room was dark, with only the faint glow of the streetlights outside shimmering through the curtains. The two of them were silent, with their minds occupied by the mysterious letters that had arrived earlier that night.

Hyunjin broke the silence with a joke, "Maybe it's a death announcement. Who knows?"

Felix didn't find it funny, however, and his eyes widened with fear. "Don't joke about that, Hyunjin. It could be something serious."

Hyunjin immediately felt guilty and apologized, realizing that Felix was truly scared. "I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to scare you. We can read the letters together in the morning. It will be okay."

But Felix couldn't wait until morning. He suddenly sat up in bed and said, "No, I have to know now. I can't wait until morning."

Hyunjin watched as Felix got up from the bed and walked to the drawer where they put the letters. "Felix, what are you doing?" Hyunjin asked, as he sat up in bed.

"I have to read the letters now. I can't wait until morning," Felix repeated, his voice shaking with a combination of fear and curiosity.

Hyunjin hesitated for a moment, but then he got up from bed and joined Felix at the drawer. He put his arm around Felix's shoulders and whispered in his ear, "We'll read them together, okay? You don't have to do this alone."

Felix nodded, and Hyunjin opened the drawer. As they read the letters, their faces changed from confusion to relief to shock. They looked at each other with a mixture of emotions, not entirely sure what to make of what they had just read.

Still, they were glad they had read the letters together. They put them back in the drawer, got back into bed, and laid down side by side. They were silent for a while, both lost in their thoughts.

At last, Hyunjin spoke. "No matter what those letters said, we'll get through it together, sunshine."

Felix smiled softly, his hand finding Hyunjin's in the darkness. "Yeah, together.." With that, they both went back to bed, comforted by the support and love they had for each other. The love they had for now. The company that they shared for now.

„I don't understand it. How did they found out Hyunjin? What will happen to us?" Felix said with shaky voice into chest of Hyunjin, being on the edge of crying.

„I don't know.. but it doesn't make me feel good. We will figure it out together baby, now go and try to sleep. I'm here for you.. I know that maybe I won't be soon, but now I am. Love you, and remember that."

„I love you too. And no one will change it. No one will part us. I won't let them."

„Neither will I."

y'all i made a bet with myself that if the book will hit 8k today, i'll dye my hair like highlighter hyune from maniac.
i hoped it will hit 8k but at the same time i didn't. but it did. so now i'm sitting on the edge of my bed with wet red hair.
i matched with orange seungmin since i'm naturally ginger, but i switched teams to my beloved wrecker!

by the way i'm really glad that the book hit 8k. it means a lot for me, and this is finally chapter 50!! at first, i was planning to make it 30 chapter max long. not more. but it somehow got long. i don't mind. and i hope you don't as well :)
