As they entered the heavenly gates, Felix felt his heart racing in his chest. It was a strange feeling, being back in heaven after all this time, but now it didn't feel like a homecoming. Instead, it felt like a call to duty, a summons that he couldn't ignore.
He could see Seungmin and Jeongin waiting for them, their faces tense with worry. Jeongin was looking around in awe, clearly surprised by the new world, but also slightly scared. Felix felt a pang of guilt in his chest, knowing that he had brought them into this situation.
"Hey, guys," Seungmin greeted them, pulling them into a quick hug. "How are you holding up?"
Felix shook his head, his hands shaking as he held onto Hyunjin's tightly. "I don't know what to do," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm so scared."
Hyunjin squeezed his hand reassuringly, trying to offer whatever comfort he could. "You don't have to do this alone, Felix. We're here for you."
Jeongin stepped forward, looking concerned. "Is your mom going to be okay?"
Felix didn't know how to answer that question, but Seungmin jumped in, trying to offer some hope. "We don't know, but we're going to do everything we can to help her get better."
With that, they set off to find Felix's mother, walking through the winding streets of heaven, past a sea of people. Felix felt like a ghost moving through the world, his mind consumed with worry. But, as they approached his mother's house, he felt a glimmer of hope, a small spark that maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
He knocked on the door, and a few moments later, his mother opened it, looking frail and weak. Felix felt his heart stop at the sight of her, but he quickly composed himself and stepped inside together with his friends.
"Mom, I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier," Felix said softly, tears welling up in his eyes as he hugged her tight.
"It's okay, my son," his mother replied weakly, returning the embrace. "I'm just glad to see you now."
Felix spent the next few days at his mother's side, taking care of her and doing everything he could to make her more comfortable. He was supported by his friends, who stayed by his side the whole time, helping with whatever they could.
It was a difficult time for Felix, but he found strength in the love he had for his mother. They talked about old memories and shared stories, and he was able to feel a sense of peace knowing that he was there for her in her time of need.
As the days went by, his mother's condition slowly improved, and Felix could see the light at the end of the tunnel. He knew that having his friends by his side had made all the difference, and he was grateful for their unwavering support and love.
Finally, after a few weeks, Felix's mother made a full recovery, and they were able to return home. Felix felt a sense of relief wash over him as he stood in his old bedroom, surrounded by familiar sights and smells.
He looked at his friends, who were sitting on his bed chatting and laughing, and he realized how lucky he was to have them in his life. They had been there for him in his darkest hour and he knew that he could always count on them no matter what.
As they prepared to return to their own world, Felix knew that he would never forget this experience. It had taught him the value of friendship, family, and the strength of the human spirit.
