Hyunjin stood in his room in heaven, staring at the black letter he had received from his father few weeks ago.
His father was disappointed in him for dating a boy. He had always known that his father was strict when it came to matters of the heart, but he had never expected this.

He felt scared and anxious, not knowing what to expect from his family after being away for two years. As he made his way down to the family gathering, he couldn't help but feel nervous about how everyone would react to his presence after being away for so long.

As he walked into the room, he could feel all eyes on him. His siblings and cousins were all excited to see him after such a long time, but he could sense the tension in the air.

The conversation with his father was unexpected. He had always thought that his father would never accept his relationship with Felix, but he was surprised when his father told him that he didn't care anymore.

Hyunjin stood in front of his father Zeus, feeling nervous and unsure of what to expect. He knew that his relationship with Felix was not accepted by his father, and he was afraid of what he might say.

Zeus looked up from his work and noticed his son standing there, looking vulnerable and anxious. He motioned for Hyunjin to sit down and he obliged hesitantly.

"You know why I called you here Hyunjin." Zeus said, his voice stern.

Hyunjin nodded, not sure what to say. He had been expecting this conversation but was still unsure of how to approach it.

"I'm disappointed in you," Zeus continued. "I thought I raised you better than this. A son of mine should not be dating another boy."

Hyunjin tried to speak up, to let his father know how much he loved Felix and how happy he made him. But fear and anxiety got the better of him. He stayed silent, staring down at his hands.

Zeus noticed his son's silence and softened his voice. "I understand that times have changed, and people's preferences have evolved. But I still cannot accept it openly."

Hyunjin looked up, surprised at the change in tone. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"I mean, I may not approve of your relationship, but I won't stop you. You're a grown man, and you have the right to make your own decisions. I sent you the letter to avoid any confrontation with the father of Felix."

Hyunjin felt a sense of relief, but he was still a bit confused. "But why?" he asked, "Why can't you accept me for who I am?"

Zeus sighed heavily. "Hyunjin, I have more than thirty children, and I know that it's possible that some of them may love the same gender. I can't control how you feel or who you love. But you have to understand that it's not easy for me to accept it openly. Society has certain expectations from me as the king of gods, and I can't let them down."

Tears welled up in Hyunjin's eyes as he finally felt relieved to hear his father's words, yet hurt by the thought that society had more control over his father's reaction than his own love and emotions.

Zeus noticed the tears in his son's eyes and softened his voice further. "Hyunjin, I'm still your father, and I love you no matter what. I just hope you can understand why I am the way I am."

Hyunjin nodded silently, still feeling emotional. He knew that he had to give his father time to adjust to this and that he couldn't force him to accept his relationship. But it was a start, and Hyunjin knew that he had his father's support, even if it was not openly expressed.

Hyunjin was relieved to hear that his father had finally accepted him for who he was, but he couldn't help but feel angry that it had taken so long for him to do so.

Despite the awkwardness of the family gathering, Hyunjin knew that he was still loved by his family, and he was grateful for that. He knew that he would always have their support, no matter who he chose to love.

As he made his way back to his room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and happiness. He was back home in heaven, and he knew that he could finally be himself, without fear of judgment or discrimination.

After the conversation with his father, Hyunjin felt a weight lift off his shoulders. However, he couldn't help but think about Felix, who was still on earth without any idea of what had transpired.

He decided to write a letter to him, pouring out his heart and telling him everything that had happened. He hoped that Felix would understand his situation with his father and still love him for who he was.

As he finished the letter, Hyunjin realized that there was still one thing that was bothering him. He still didn't understand why his father and the father of Felix hated each other. He decided to bring it up the next time they saw each other.

Days passed, and Hyunjin found himself in his father's palace yet again. This time, he didn't feel as anxious as before. Instead, he was determined to get some answers.

"Father," Hyunjin said as he walked up to Zeus. "I have a question for you."

Zeus looked at his son, intrigued by the sudden change in his demeanor. "What's your question?" he asked.

"Why do you and the father of Felix hate each other?" Hyunjin asked, his eyes locked on his father's.

Zeus let out a sad sigh, making Hyunjin feel uncomfortable. "It's a long and complicated story," Zeus replied, shaking his head.

Hyunjin persisted, "Please, Father, I want to know."

Zeus hesitated for a moment before he decided to tell Hyunjin the story. „Well.."
