Late at night, a man walked towards our house in Godric's Hallow. Severus? I wondered. But the man was different. I could tell from here. Harry and Violet were in bed, so I ran to get James.

"LILY!" James screamed. "It's Voldemort! Take Harry, Violet, and go! I'll hold him off!"

I started to run to him, but the man outside raised his wand and the lock in the door gleamed. A bloodcurdling scream sounded downstairs and I knew that James was dead. I started to cry, but didn't have much time because Voldemort entered the room I was in.

"Stand aside," He growled. "Stand aside, girl!"

"Not Harry!"I cried. "Not Violet! PLEASE! HAVE MERCY!!!!!!"

"STAND ASIDE," Voldemort shouted.

"NO! PLEASE!!" I exclaimed.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!!"

I screamed and everything went black.

I hid in the bushes and heard a scream as the windows upstairs in Lily's house as they where blinded by flashes. It stopped and I heard a whoosh. Voldemort was gone. I ran into the house and slowed down, passing James lying on the stairs, his eye's wide open. I stepped around him and went to the bedrooms. If James was gone......... I saw Lily lying on the floor by Violet's crib. Silent tears fell down my checks and I wrapped her in a hug. I wanted to scream. To yell, to kill Voldemort. But I couldn't. All my senses seemed to be gone. I couldn't do anything. Lily was dead. What was the point of living anymore? I certainly didn't see one.
