Buck pov

I walk into the station waving at the other guys as I walk past saying hi and talking a bit to a few of them

As I walk further into the station I see hen and chimney standing by where we keep our gear.

They're huddled in a circle whispering.

I walk up to them to see what's up.

"Hey guys what's up?" I ask

"Shhh." Hen says

I look in the same direction as the rest of them.

"Who's that?" I ask now whispering too.

Bobby walks up behind us.

"Eddie Diaz new recruit." He says.

Eddie Diaz. I think to myself.

"Why do we need a new recruit?" I ask.

"Why not?" Chimney says

"Oooh are you feeling challenged buckaroo?" Hen makes fun.

"No just wondering we have all the people we need." I reply more defensive than I meant to be.

My friends laugh at me.

I walk away before the new guy can walk over. As I'm walking the bell starts ringing.

We throw our gear on and hop into the trucks.

We start driving to a house fire.

Two victims in the house one little girl and her mother.

Bobby starts calling out orders.

"Buck you and Eddie go look around the house for a way to get in!" Bobby calls

I scoff under the mask. Me and the new guy seriously. I don't fight cap on his orders but he had to put me with the new guy.

New guy puts his mask on and his helmet after.

He goes around one side I go around the other. I find an open window and look inside.

I don't see any fire around it looks like the window leads to a kitchen.

I call out to everyone over the radio.

"Hey cap i got an open window on the east side of the house I don't see any fire and it looks like it leads to a kitchen."

"Copy that Buck everyone east side open window." Bobby calls over the radio.

New guy gets to me first followed by chimney then Bobby I assume hen stayed back for medical.

Bobby starts calling out more orders.

"Eddie go to the truck and grab a crow bar to break this window..."

I didn't hear the rest of caps orders I had already broken the window and was already inside.
