Buck pov

After dinner Eddie drops me off at my house.

Him and Chris leave to go back to theirs i assume.

I unlock the door with my key and i walk into the house.

I look around and find maddie cooking in the kitchen.

"Hey maddie."

"Hey buck where did you go?"

"I went to the zoo with Chris and Eddie."

"Oh and how was that?"

"It was really fun." I reply honestly

"Did you eat already?"

"Yeah we went out for dinner sorry."

"That's alright buck. You still hungry?"

"Sure what're you making?"

"Im making spaghetti."

"You know what thanks anyway im not hungry."

"What?"

"I don't like spaghetti its a texture thing."

"What texture dont you like?"

"The sauce and i dont like the sauce flavour."

"I can make you spaghetti without the sauce with butter instead."

"Thank you maddie you're the best. You worked today how was work?"

"It was fine noting super eventful."

"Thats good."

Maddie nods at my statement.

"I leave around midnight for my shift and then I picked up a double shift. So ill see you on saturday."

"Ok buck sounds good. Why'd you pick up a double?"

"Because after i get a day off i feel like i need to make up for the day off that i had so after a day off i always pick up a double."

Maddie nods and puts noodles on a plate she puts a bit of butter on top and puts them in the microwave.

She puts aside one more serving of plain noodles and then coats the rest in tomato sauce.

"I dont even know why I have the stuff to make spaghetti considering i dont like it." I say

Maddie laughs at me and brings both our plates to the table.

We eat and have random conversations.

A while after dinner i decide to go to bed even though it is only 7.

I set my alarm and fall asleep fairly quickly.

Hey everyone sorry its been a while since i posted a chapter I've had a lot of writers block and i started 2 new stories. Also school starts soon so that will probably put a slow on chapters as well. Thank you for sticking with me :) i might need to not discontinue the story but take a break from writing because of school and because of other things i have going on. Sorry but i hope to get more chapters out soon
