As im driving i see the sign that says welcome to LA.

I know that as soon as i pass that sign its only 20 minutes to get back to my apartment.

While i was out i set a date to meet with my lawyer.

We decided on tomorrow. I would go down to his office and we could chat.

I continue driving.

I drive until i reach my apartment.

When i get to the apartment i park my car and get out.

I take all my bags out and walk into the elevator to bring me up to my floor.

I get out of the elevator and walk to my flat.

I put my keys in the door and open the door.

I walk in and see the house clean.

It looks like no ones lived here since ive been gone.

I put my bags in my room and get in the shower.

I haven't showered since the day i left i needed this.

I get out of the shower and go into my room.

I open my email and see one from the lawyer im going to meet with tomorrow.

Him telling me all the documents and information i would need to gather for us to meet tomorrow.

I take out my laptop and start typing a word document with all my points for why i think i should be allowed back at work.

I mark down everything because you should be honest with your lawyer.

I find all the documents he said he needed and add them to the word document as well.

As im working on this the front door opens. Its maddie.

She walks in and walks to the kitchen she sees me sitting there and jumps. It doesnt take long for her to pull me into a hug.

Before she hits me.

"Ow." I say

"Sorry buck you scared me i didnt know where you were i was ready to call the police. I did actually i called Athena and she said everyone was looking for you. You stupid don't do that again!" Maddie yells at me.

"Sorry for scaring you mads i needed a break."

"I know its ok buck. How are you?"

"Ive been better but im back now i wont leave again for now."

Maddie smiles and hugs me again.
